I can see God Ginrai winding up as a Haslab thing, but I don't think it needs it. Unless it has to be designed and produced as a set like Victory Saber, or made huge for some reason.
Powermaster Prime by himself would seem to be doable as a Commander class release, considering the concept isn't...
To be fair, that's about a decade plus in the past, and was followed by at least one bigger play base for smaller bots that did have a "big robot" mode. Come to think of it, playsets in general have kind of not been the TF team's thing for some time.
But I agree that turning from one mode into...
You're forgetting that if the new starting point were two Commanders, their new whining demand would be for both to be at the Leader price point, widening that gap again. Moving goalposts make everything pointless.
But yeah, I get being salty. It's rough to have to miss out, but it's also...
I always go back to this, such as in that "make a whole toyline concept" thread where I essentially went all in on playsets. But a proper playset right now would just be incredibly refreshing to see. Something designed from the ground up as one, the whole thing dedicated to that rather than a...
Great, now I have to buy it. That'll show em.
Ehh, not really. I like the colors and some of the execution of the different rock striation pattern whatever. But I don't really have room for a whole new rockbot faction. Still, if these get even more interesting redecos, I can be talked into it...
Yeah, even Leader would be pushing it a bit. I'd be fine with a Voyager, really. The key thing is it has to be an all new mold.
Or if they MUST get a G1ish Megs out of it, do a Universe 2.0 Sideswipe/Sunstreaker and prepare a tooling that uses the back as the front, and folds down or...
Brawn's lower legs give me SUPER third party vibes. Cannot unvibe. I've held off on getting one. The only other one I delayed getting was Beachcomber, because that was such a lateral move from the POTP one. But I went and got even that ahead of Brawn.
This looks REALLY good. I wish I could repurpose it as someone else because I already have a Chromia I'm using, but wow, the colors and mold really make each other pop.
Just realizing Lithones would be a perfect, if not very marketable, fit. And (checking the Wiki) apparently making them rock-based creatures WAS the intent at one point. Wild.
Oddly the Armorizers (that name doesn't work as well as "weaponizers" for me because of the rock themeing; I wish they'd found a themed name like they did with Fossilizers) haven't appealed to me so far. This looks great though. Maybe if they make one with clear rock parts, or reuse the...
Powermaster Optimus Prime (let Ginrai be like a Voyager Weaponizer released separately)
Thunder Clash as an all-new mold (I'd be fine with him at Leader class, but this allows more budgetary room for the trailer base)
Thunderwing (again, fine with this at Leader or even Voyager, but maybe this...
I really like that blue, and even the lighter gray for some reason. But yeah, where the smoky clear plastic mostly distracted from the wrong windshield shape, this just forces you to look at it.
Ever since Earthrise I've been eyeing a kit that gave Wheeljack the proper rounded windshield end...
I may back to this when I'm less snowed under by stuff, because Micromasters and Mini-Cons and such have always been near and dear to me. Good shouts so far.
But Erector is definitely a sentimental favorite. Managing to track down a good deal on a new trailer rig (the original was lost to time)...
