That's an even better idea. Any and all slightly different colored 'spares' on the shelf could be waved off that way and you can claim to have no character duplicates, too!
Claim they're the emergency backups. Multiple Breakdowns and Dead Ends are kept on hand at all times in slightly different color schemes in case of actual physical or mental breakdowns.
So it will be a 'more or less paint' option and possibly solid vs clear plastic? I could understand the Hasbro vs Takara decoys when they were seriously different like Ruinstion back in RID but there are only so many ways to do a G2 Menasor colorset.
I never had any GPS issues, I don't remember any on his joints. I don't have it anymore sadly, it was a casualty of the last medical mess but I don't think he's expensive. He did have very loose joints though, even though they were white plastic. His shoulder/scissors gimmick was pretty useless.
G2 Menasor is up on BBTS for $280, "Pricing not final". Estimated 1st quarter 2027. Seems rather late, till I remembered how long ago the T-spark stuff showing up now was revealed, and how Swindle got beat to preorder or even shipping by things revealed after. Scheduling is really weird lately.
"Wheelie Say 'my dark dead eyes see beyond this sad parody of a universe, and between the forks of this stick lie all the discarded husks of broken dreams-OH! Whoops, Camera's on...I mean...'Find Friend Today!'"
And in honor of Youtube showing me THE SAME TRAILER FOUR TIMES IN A ROW...
G2 had both at the same time, sometimes on the same bot, so the mis-match would be entirely appropriate.
I'm still surprised that they wrote "Decepticon" on them in G2 style, wasn't it still "Destron" in Japan back in G2? Or is this entirely just a 'toy that almost was with knees' thing...
That's the piece left out that you heard Kup complaining about in the movie. The REALLY weird part is when you change it back to a trailer and realize the trailer is complete, but that extra part is still off to the side...then you change the trailer to Menasor and have to remove that part as...

-Sad part is I'm familiar with some of the odder things in IT and this is NOT impossible for someone to have done, nor is most of what's already been posted...
It was Mainframe, trying to figure out when AOTP Swindle preorders are going to go up.
"But the real Swindle was the price charged for him along the way..."
Strange question that probably can't be answered till later: Are those windows just painted over clear, or did they actually switch the clear plastic for solid? Because that's actually a selling point from my POV if they did no matter what colors they are...I wish the Cybertron Origins...
I do find it funny that the 'tower' leftover is just conveniently forgotten about for the pictures. I don't know how it all connected to the trailer but it would have been nice if they could have painted it up to in some way homage the space cube or something.
I also really liked their Overlord for the same reasons. A great mini-version that kept almost all the original features and even manged to wedge in a few nice surprises.
Supreme Cheetor to this day remains the only Transformer I ever returned to the store. Same day. It just didn't work. Nothing held together, nothing triggered correctly. I actually gave up. I've never had that happen before or since.
It was actually a joke on the original BM line, where for some reason Nightscream and Jetstorm were given huge figures with electronic lights, projectiles, so-called 'third' modes (Jetstorm hover-bot, and Nightscream turned into some sort of swingset crawler thing), etc. I figured nowadays to...
