We can joke about Hasbro UK (even though they don't really exist any more, it's Hasbro Europe now), but it's not just them. Hasbro's buying terms for retailers are terrible, and have not been competitive with other manufacturers for a long time. They are bad at on-boarding smaller accounts.
If I were Hasbro I'd worry more about how Blokees are so much better at getting distribution than they are. There's basically only one significant physical retailer still carrying most Transformers left in the UK, whereas TF Blokees are literally everywhere.
Hasbro UK got a bit better, and is currently a lot worse. But not in the "we literally don't care" way they did, they currently don't have a functioning ERP system as I understand it. And that's a pan-European issue.
Hasbro UK is literally currently telling retailers they don't know what stock they are getting and when themselves. Literally no idea. Literally they claim to not even know what's in their own warehouse.
Shareholders don't care.
Most corporate consolidations are between companies who are fierce rivals. Ultimately the reason for doing this would be to get considerable savings by combining distribution operations to make the logistics more efficient, and both companies famously have fairly jive...
As noted, it is a shame they don't hide the hinges slightly better, but these are lightyears better than any deluxes we've had for a while. I'm really looking forwards to them.
Hasbro still need a business, they will still try and make stuff.
Further price increases and cost cutting seem pretty inevitable though. I dread to think what leaders will be like in future. Astrotrain might be a high mark for new tools.
There are some AI powered 3D conversion tools out there for professional use. I'm actually kinda surprised nobody has stuck it through Owl3D and put that on YouTube.
Astrotrain is kinda hard to tell, those purple sides make the robot look a lot thinner. Train mode is better. Need to see more pictures.
Shockwave is as much as I reasonably expected, will pick up.
Kranix looks okay! His alt mode suffers a bit for the reality of hinge sizes but I appreciate...
Leige Maximo is pretty good. I hope his head has other configurations, but he looks great
Nexus Prime is embarrassing. That combined mode is just ill-concieved, and the end result looks terrible.
That is a rough looking wave of deluxes. Powerglide is... how do you mess up Powerglide? Just literally take the ten other Powerglide's you've made and scale them up slightly.
Swerve is probably about the best that could be done from the terrible Gears tooling.
The painted window on Ratchet...
The colours on Skybound Op are terrible and don't fit his appearances at all. He's not supposed to be that vivid and they made the windows look even worse, and skipped the defining dinged up look he has.
But hey, turns out the terrible head sculpt on the original wasn't necessary for...
I just picked up the Sonic crossover on discount.
Nice designs, but really don't feel great in hand due to a combination of tightish joints and frighteningly thin plastic used through them, so it constantly feels like whichever panel you're moving is less strong than the joint you're trying to...
Vector Prime is still probably one of the most powerful transformers ever, they just didn't handwave stuff around because Galaxy Force is generally quite well written.
