Consider the pattern:
1996 - Nintendo gained attention with it's N64 and especially Super Mario 64, there was also Wave Race 64 and Shadows of the Empire, these were steps beyond SNES/Genesis and above what Playstations and Saturns offered visually.
2006 - Nintendo demonstrate Wii, it shouldn't...
I suppose we'll get a June Direct but I miss Iwata, Reggie and Miyamoto E3's.
My bets:
Zelda 40th (Ocarina of Time remake?)
Dual screen reveal: DS and 'maybe' Wii U or 3DS Classic Apps,
Switch 2 upgrades for Pikmin 4, Luigis Mansion 3, Metroid Dread, Xenoblade Chronicles 1,2 and 3.
Links Awakening had dungeon maker and dampe but that was it. Majoras Mask finetuned the game and added a fishing shack.
Zero Mission had a post game, Pokemon FRLG and ORAS had post game stuff as well as implemented the mechanics of their respective gens.
Nintendo (well, their second party) were...

They'll have to release a demo of this Starfox games Corneria mission otherwise I have it on N64 Classics.
Also maybe Nintendo could explore remakes or new updates of games we haven't seen in decades, Eternal Darkness, Geist, Chibi-Robo, that sort of thing.
And send hired goons to rough up...
He's a space shuttle that runs on coal. Give him a British accent and a union jack deco and we got a new mercenary. (yes I used AI to make concept images of a redeco)
Not my cup of tea but still significant news, I am looking forward to FF7 Rebirth in June.
I looked through my Switch library and would love Switch 2 editions of Assassins Creed and Batman Arkham Trilogy but figure AC4 Resynced will come to the system and maybe (if much less likely) Batman...
