I think I would have vastly prefered his Van form, even if it meant we had to wait for SS Ironhide. I feel he's really the weakest of this wave. He's 100% white plastic, minus the chest door; but every bit of color on him is painted... and I'm fairly sure that includes the chest door. Laserbeak...

So looking him over, I realize that SG Soundwave is whiter then the RNC. Every bit of color on him his painted.

Got Soundwave today, they rushed him to me, as I just got charged Thursday. Interestingly, he's got the plastic ties and not the ropey ones they've been using. Minor Comic spoilers [/spoiler]

I consider it a bit more 'streamlining' then anything. Since it gives oracle some kinda connection to G1 which doesn't really strech credibility or change anything. It's just makign two vaguely similar 'characters' with obscure lore, into one that gives them slightly more depth then being random...

So, where did you get your reading comprehension skills from? I didn't say perfectly, I said largely. We had Race Car bros that were largely confined to base, Guys like Ironhide's his faction symbol is molded in and not colored, hidden in plain sight as it were... if only there was a word for...

Oh, you mean as giant mythical creatures that are more feral animal then robot, with next to no character? Yes, I am sure that will go over spectacularly.

The Live action movies, have largely done well about keeping the whole 'robots in disguise' element.

THen why even bother with the beast modes anyway? This movie is already likely gonna be a clusterfuck since they already seemed to forget what made the last movie good; and is just trying to force in as much BS as possible; why even bother with making them beast, other then wanting more money...

Last I checked, they never really tried to be in disguise. Not to mention that EVEN if they were, no one was gonna pass by "Oh, its just your every day T-rex." and think nothing of it. Becuase there are no Dinosaurs for them to blend in with, unless their on the same earth as Power Rangers Dino...

While I like the look of this, I disagree; becuase it completely loses the whole 'disquise' element. Unless they're pretending to be animal statues, a metallic animal is gonna be super noticable.
