Pack in comics/manga never happened.
Convention/Club Exclusive fiction only matter as a way to explain that year's smattering of unrelated repaints.
Toy/comic bios mean nothing if all the character does is be crowdfiller.
Robots that don't transform and/or combine are a waste of time, ergo...
Cannonball is neat. Ferak's a nobody, so I'll pass. Filch's base mold isn't all that good and is fragile. Lockdown doesn't fit very well. I pictured him as more of a sleek, streamlined type of bounty hunter who does his job stylishly and the mold's a bit too clunky-looking for that image
Was reading some old capeshit comics and realized that I was subconsciously giving Red Hulk senator Armstrong’s voice and now I want to ser that as a real thing.
Wouldn’t be very helpful. We’d have no idea if it were like that to begin with versus rough play or something breaking in the intervening 30+ years. Even then all it would prove is that at least one Blaster had jacked up tape door.
Yes it was like that on the cartoon but it’s clearly meant to represent the sticker on the toy meant to look like a cassette. It’s dumb but I get it, Blaster has to take any differences from Kingdom he can because there barely are any.
A solid blue tape guy is kind of a draw but damn the chest door is tacky. Even a solid allspark blue window would be preferable to having a fake cassette drawn onto it.
I don’t live in Burgerland but they’re somewhat available here. Hobby stores will put up preorders but they’re limited in quantity. General retail might get some but only the larger stores, very inconsistently and in even more limited quantities.
It’ll depend on how they’re priced/distributed for me. They’re all neat but nothing mind-blowing.
Definitely skipping Filch though. That mold’s been nothing but a headache to me
Titan of course.
Looks like the cockpit's missing a clear part or something. Needs at least attempts at the gimmickry the original had because Cybertron Starscream is pretty ugly.
They announced an upgrade pack with Sixgun and car dude. There is a lot of apparent cost cutting with Metroplex so only the tank comes in the base package. I can’t be bothered which one is Slammer or Scamper.
Metroplex also came with this unassembled unpainted Windblade. They shouldn’t have. No, really shouldn’t have. She doesn’t transform, can’t stand because of her stripper shoes, falls apart on mild handling and would be Kong-sized next to the toys Metroplex is intended to go with. Looks pretty...
Had the regular insecticons made from those molds. Bombshell or Shrapnel’s Insect legs basically disintegrated whichever one of them had the bug legs that doubled as detachable sickle weapons. Weren’t terrible otherwise but also not worth hunting an exclusive set years after they released IMO.
He does not. Chopshop has actual legs instead of the ski things Shrapnel has at least.
Either way, probably the best we’re going to get given their almost zero fictional relevance and possible rights issues with their original looks.
Painted the axe and added a proper tip to the handle instead of just mirroring the top. Now it’s long enough to stand it on the ground and has a cool clear red tip!
If they were considering Prime Breakdown, they should have scrolled down the wiki page a bit more and done DOTM Megs out of the mold. I’ll miss the stabby bumper but i’d say it’s closer than plain Breakdown. It even has a tarp, even if you can’t cosplay Assassin’s Creed woth it.
