  1. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

That's one thing that went RIGHT for me today, while still somewhat pricey, I did take advantage of the Halloween Pulse sale to get a G1 Optimus for my nephew for Christmas. He's loved the other G1 reissues I've gotten various times (usually also on sale) so I figured it won't hurt to get the...
  2. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

How did you get a picture from inside my house, and why do I look like Bumblebee?
  3. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

"Optimus Prime A" came today, according to the box label. Just the cab and light bars, no pistol, matrix, trailer parts, etc. No cracks, though. I just opened it enough to check and put it back. Thus completes my own HasLab Omega Prime story, I got, with some fixes, a fully functional bot...
  4. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

There's a very loose wall between Studio Series and AOTP or whatever the 'main' line is, I could easily see them doing things interchangeably, like back in the Reveal The Shield days where a lot of clearly G1 bots were put into the movie line.
  5. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

Adding insult to price injury, for me at least, a few pics of Brawl are popping up with major stress marks around the 'collar' part of the joint of the Bruticus ankle. It's a really simple stress point, clearly the tube is just a bit too big for the ring it fits through. This early on those...
  6. Voltron The Movie

    ...that's a very tempting argument...
  7. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

Looks like my hopes aren't great either, everything is still up for Pulse preorder, except the Combaticons. Sold out.
  8. Voltron The Movie

I would just suggest not skipping both leg AND arm day...
  9. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

Glad Pulse wasn't as bad as some WalMarts, but everyone still has a limit. I just found out what mine was. I hope things will improve a bit but I have to focus on priorities for the moment. Maybe I will get another shot later, we'll see.
  10. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

So we DON'T have a Great Big Convoy, just a reasonably good but argumentatively short stocky one. And weird price note, my other local Wal-Mart has started splitting the difference on prices, with $55 leaders, $28 deluxes, EXCEPT Brawn and Seaspray, they're $30. Voyagers were $44. Bizzare.
  11. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

"Next time, on Beast Wars!:" *music starts as Dinobot wearing a distinctive helmet races by on Transmetal Rattrap painted white and red, chasing a goat herd waving a stick* "Goad Speed Racer's....goad Speed Racer's...goad Speed Racer's GOOOATS!" *Optimus Primal stares blankly, quickly reads...
  12. Hasbro "Transformers Timelines" comic packs

...I was thinking along the lines of 'Super Megatron'...I didn't think about the alternative and I think I just walked right into it.
  13. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

That's both awesome AND worrying...why is Onslaught's trailer set up so two heavy halves of the toy are being held together with ONE thin pin joint? No big deal on a shelf but if you pick it up you're stressing a lot. Base is what I expected, I am glad they didn't use the same guns for both...
  14. Hasbro "Transformers Timelines" comic packs

Now to make a special edition 'Super Randy' gold recolor of that Megatron. It's a huge profit-maker since there's no molds to be made, you just throw gold glitter in the box and tape it shut.
  15. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

Weirdly, I got my nephew the BB/Megatron pack partially because he loves trains, partially because outside HOS, this Megatron will work well with the Devastation Prime he likes, scale-wise.
  16. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

I love the art but without dialogue it is sort of strange. "Hi there, I'm Optimus Prime! And when I'm shooting up the street for no reason and the neighbors are all yelling at me, it's nice to know the people at Mutual of Omaha are..." -sorry, Marlin Perkins flashback...
  17. Hasbr-uh-oh - Business and Tariffs Discussion

Well, seeing as they're charging for an extra half bot per bot, I imagine revenues will be up considerably...IF people keep buying...and it does lead to the question of why prices jumped AFTER they had this information, which you would think would justify keeping prices where they were to avoid...
  18. Robosen Optims Prime Flagship - Failed Battery?

This is actually why I am so hesitant to ever go near the high-end stuff with batteries. Bad enough that both laptops and cars now have non-user-replaceable lithium packs, it means that even things like Transformers to Lightsabers can have built in obsolescence where the life of the product is...
  19. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Looks like I got another 'replacement part on the way' note from Pulse, and if it's like what others have gotten (I paid more attention this time!) it'll be the cab of Prime, with a questionable amount of sanding done with no guarantee that it works. I think I may be best off just checking it...
