The Waspinator mold would look really incongruous with the other ones all being G1 Insecticons.
I hope they work some remold magic on Kickback for Venom eventually.
As a consolation, here’s what Wasp-Venom would probably look like care of some Botcon planning that didn’t wind up happening.

Part of Rise’s difficulty attracting an audience is likely because it had to follow up that series.
It’s so tough when a reinvention just completely nails things so much you can’t really refine it further. It leaves the follow up to be basically “different for difference sake”.
Going by AOS (and it’s questionable canonocity) Asgardians *are* exceptionally long lived and have superior strength compared to humans.
It’s possible Thor’s enhanced abilities post Ragnarok are a result of him possessing the Odinforce but the Movies haven’t explicitly laid that out.
You have to hand it to the writers too. Pike is incredibly charming but I saw Mount in “Inhumans” so I know he *absolutely* can be let down by material because he had ZERO charm there.
Yeah, that’s a problem with popularity. Especially nostalgic popularity. It’s often better creatively for something to completely wither away so you can come back to it with fresh eyes and make real blockbuster “Beast Wars” type changes to the formula.
