Just to note, Galoob sued nintendo first to demand that they not change the form style of the nes or chipset so that the gamegenie was guaranteed to work on versions of the system

I mean, they changed the story from the original DQ 7 to DQ 7 on 3DS to condense it a little as it was overly long originally if I remember.
