Seeing as the only version of the ER mold I managed to get was Guard, who is now offically my SG Ironhide; I feel the gruff/ornery look really works for him, while SS Ironhide works for being the more pleasent version.
I think its a bit of both. SOME people are willing to buy stuff like that, others are fine without it. I think that even without retailers, if prices were to suddenly double, even if it mean higher quality of figures; there would still be blow-back from people.
I always found it interesting that they used her early Archie Comic colors (Pink and Black) rather then her SatAM colors (Tan and Brown). Which kinda makes sense, as The first year or two of the Archie comics are more AOSTH based.
