    THE KNOCK OFF TRANSFORMERS THREAD

Oh, that's a Diarobo figure! That's a pretty good figure, actually! I would be very interested in buying that. If it's anything like the original Diarobo figures, even though it's molded in white plastic, the police car body is probably painted white. They were really good Legend/Legion scale...

    Transformers: The Basics

The Muffler/Muffy character in yellow and pink variants, the female versions of Sideswipe and Starscream, Negator, there's plenty of unused concepts to pull from even before the "show only" characters.

Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Reheated Leftover POTPie

Honestly, if they had just remembered one basic rule: Godzilla doesn't run from the military, the military runs from Godzilla. Most of the films other quirks can be forgiven, but that, in my opinion, is where they completely missed the mark.

Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Reheated Leftover POTPie

I will die on the hill that '98 Zilla was an excellent remake of Beast From 20,000 Fathoms that was inexplicably (ie name recognition) rewritten to be "Godzilla". The movie does a lot of things right for a kaiju flick, it just isn't a Godzilla movie.

Is there a ReAction+ Python BAT, or are you talking about the 5-PoA one?

Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Reheated Leftover POTPie

Im not sure, but I feel like the director struggled to figure out how to direct non-humanoid monsters; look at how much screen time Ghidorah spends as Monster X, or how much time is focused on Gigan and Godzilla compared to other kaiju. Of course, Godzilla had been in a decline in general...

Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Reheated Leftover POTPie

I learned just the other day that it was, in fact, a two-person costume. Just like the horse variety. Wasn't DeathGhidorah also 4-limbed, though?

Now turn them sideways and do an Abbey Road cover...bonus points if you can fit a Bumblebee in the background.

I would want RB Blades first, but would love to see Charlie Chopper and Policeman Pete get the Generations treatment. Also, insert obligatory annual request for Playskool GoBots Speedbot/Mototron and Buzzerbot updates here.

    Toy and Action Figure Thread

They're kind of fun; the truck's wheels roll, the fryer and fountain have little action features, and the restaurant roof comes off and is pretty detailed inside. Unfortunately, many of the McD's we've visited this week are already out of them.

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

The tank and Grimstone were great! I honestly liked Smolder and Huffer as well. Kinda wish I had gone all-in on the line's redecos, but it was not a great time for me, financially speaking.

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see firetrucks fighting with sharks!

Visiting the inlaws in Ohio, so I got to shop at a Meijer yesterday (don't have any in Iowa, afaik) and found Alchemist Prime and Crasher, and then stopped at a collectable shop (Operation: Fandom in Wooster if anyone is interested) and found a bunch of Gobots, a Kelloggs Starbot, Fearswoop, and...

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

Ah, that's a nuance I didn't pick up on; I've largely passed on the new combiners, with the exception of Air Raid, so I'm not overly familiar with the workings of the frame system. That's good to know, and does seem like maybe a bit of planning for some future release (I would buy Alpha Bravo or...

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

I feel like one of the recent interviews said that it was intended to swap arms with arms and legs with legs, but just not arms with legs due to the frame system. Probably some caveats even then, but I did get the impression that some cross-compatibility was intended.

Combiners: Unified colors or Rainbow Warriors? Lets discuss!

This post triggered an idea for a discussion. With combiners, do you prefer a unified color scheme, like G1 Devastator or the Ruination redecos, or do you like your combiners to resemble Voltron or Megazords with all different colored limbs? Or, is it situational? Personally, I like the unified...
