Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

...He even acknowledged it was part of Legacy, yet still put it in the Age of the Primes thread (to say nothing of it having its own thread). 🤦‍♂️

I honestly wouldn't mind a simple reissue of both that and the Takara version of Sixshot, since those two Legends toys looks really good compared to Hasbro Titans Return version of Sixshot.

There were probably supposed to be more Elseworlds-style stories like it, but Transformers: Evolutions (the larger umbrella title that "Hearts of Steel" was released under) didn't continue beyond the first mini-series. Below are two of the potential ideas that we were robbed from (as well as...

The Crossformers, too. Unless you count the toys Black Shadow has had in both Generations and Titans Return, then it's just Blue Bacchus who's left. Then again, there's also Jan's mech, the Illumina II, if we want to stretch beyond living robots. Oh, and the Victory-original Micromasters...

Like with the previous HasLabs, I'm gonna wait until closer to the end of the campaign to see if it funds before I lock in my backing.

It actually works even better on a wordplay level than one might realize, since Japanese katakana use the same characters for H and F sounds of foreign words.

I don't think she's gonna give you $300 for this. Sell it on eBay instead. :p

Funny thing about that is, they're ostensibly the next wave of the Comic Edition line, but we didn't give Comic Edition its own thread.

Thread of Thoughts, Questions (and Maybe Even Answers) That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Missed this before... It's not entirely as clear cut as that. It's true that when the show first started, Galaxy Force presented itself as a new universe separate from its two predecessors. And it is true that, around 2007, there was a new timeline published on Takara's website that gave the...

Thread of Thoughts, Questions (and Maybe Even Answers) That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Well, that, and the fact that they initially tried to promote Prime as a show that could stand on its own without the need of a toyline to support it, which just made people beg for toys even more. And when they did finally make a proper toyline for it, it was aimed at a much younger...

Wing Saber's special. He's a figure everyone wanted because he combines with Optimus. In two configurations. The rest of the Energon line isn't too hard to come by for cheap. But Wing Saber is exceptional, even if he is just a brick in robot mode.

The fact that they spelled Hellbat's name correctly in the Hasbro Pulse email announcement makes me think that they really really tried to use his name for this release (after all, they bothered to keep "Killbison" as such instead of "Ironbison"), but just couldn't pass legal without removing the H.

Hasbro used "Leozack" and "Guyhawk" previously, for the BotCon 2009 toy and the Combiner Wars toy, respectively.

So what's the excuse for "Leozak", "Jaruga", and "Gaihawk"? All of them are misspellings too, of "Leozack", "Jallguar", and "Guyhawk".

The reveal video: Four names misspelled, though one is to be expected due the use of "Hell" in the name, though both his name and that of Guyhawk were spelled correctly in the Hasbro Pulse email announcement, while Leozack is "Leozak" and Jallguar is "Jaruga" in both the video and the email.
