We did have that early stretch of Cyberverse everyone tells you to skip where Slipstream was the highest-ranking Decepticon on Earth and had toxic mild yuri with Windblade.

I could definitely see it as the deluxes just being from the knees down with the hips/thighs made from either TM Megs or the two G2 bros.

The one thing we can be sure of, those thighs will be seductive as hell.

Somewhere a monkey's paw is curling, leaving only the middle finger up.

"Here, you'll get a ton of Megses remade for the first time in this era.

But..."

Oh well. At least the two I'm interested in seem the least compromised. Now I'm just wondering how the hell the supposed Kingdom retool does all that, and how much extra bits it has hanging off of it once combined if all it contributes is partial torso and head.

Or is this like a Maccadam situation an" the "combiner" is a build-a-figure?

I'm honestly not too worried. Bruticus was my first go with the new frame Combiners and I was impressed by how un-compromised the limbs felt as stand alone guys. Bruticus was one of the better CW sets and even his individual components don't really hold up to the AotP versions.

As much as I'd want a new MW Megatron who's just MW Megatron (and who could maybe dock with MW Starscream?) I have faith that he won't be compromised too badly by the need to be a leg.

I'm still a wait and see, but knowing that Kingdom remold might be a part of that combiner? Doesn't make that much sense to me, but I guess we'll see.

And a heads up/warning:
Hasbro has officially raised the price of other collector lines for 2027. SW Black and Marvel Legends will be $29.99, so I expect the same for Transformers upon the launch of Megatron Rising. New price scale is probably going to look like this:
Deluxe $29.99
Voyager $44.99
Leader $59.99, though it might creep up to $64.99

Is it going to be a frame Combiner? Seems weird that it wouldn’t be but that explanation isn’t giving me hope.

Aren't Leaders already $60 at Target? I could have sworn that SS86 Megatron was $60.

I don't think it would be, but I don't think it necessarily matters. I've seen enough from Bruticus and Liokaiser to give me some optimism that these figures won't suffer too badly, if at all, from being parts of a Combiner.

The only consolation is that Leader class is delivering looks that would have cost Masterpiece prices not that long ago. It's crazy how old CW Megatron looks next to SS86.

It's worth pointing out that JT Prime, who shared the info that TM1 Megatron is a Kingdom remould, said he based that assumption off of artwork only.

Even if the figure is a Kingdom remould... I mean... that doesn't tell us much considering how extensive remoulds are these days. Legacy Armada Starscream was considered a Reactive Starscream remould and all they shared was a crotch. ER had Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Runabout, and Runamuck. All of whom shared engineering and some internal skeleton pieces but nothing else. TM1 Megatron could be a "remould" of Kingdom Megatron that is still mostly new tooling.

The Go-Bots did have an advantage though in that they didn't assume alien robots/cyborgs would have anything like human sexual dimorphism. Most Go-Bots I couldn't tell the gender looking at them. Transformers went more human-ish with how it worked, with a great many exceptions, but still, it fit the pattern of the audience species would recognize immediately.

The same guy who said that TM1 Megatron was a Kingdom retool is now confirming the Combiner leak.
