Also, that Highlander opening really wants to be Queen music doesn’t it? And yeah, the plot is… weird. Meteor strike wipes out most (but not all) of humanity. All Immortals but the guy who wishes he was Kurgan swear off fighting and Connor dies trying to stop him.

Also also. Completely tangential, Another One Bites the Dust is used in CPR training because the beat is so good.

I admit that a line called Headmasters is slightly amusing. I off the top of my head, I can't think of a single character that comes close to the sheer hilarity of "Fisto." But that's Mattel, not Hasbro.

I’d say it’s 50/50 on some of them as to whether they realised what the names could mean. Other times? Oh they knew EXACTLY what they were doing.

And then there’s Nexus Maximus.
