Whoops. Misspelled Bove's name, and he wasn't even to blame for that one. Corrected, with thanks.

It's ok, he still did the colouring for it. They somehow got the two most cringe modern Transformers creators on the same project, which is properly cringe. That's impressive. That's art.

The post-credits thing is going to be a stop-motion thing using Studio Series toys, isn't it?

Maybe it will be animated with the dead-color Robeson. Cross merchandising. And when the hard-to-replace battery fails in the thousand-dollar toy, it becomes more show accurate!

Me in the theatre when they announce an animated adaptation of the Deviations comic guest staring AI Peter Cullen and ElevenLabs Adam as the Starscream combiner

Honestly though, I don't think any of this is that serious. The whole idea of an "Apology Tour" for the '86 movie is taking the piss in and of itself. I find the whole discussion kind of nuts these days. It's been forty years. People who are still mad that Optimus died and Rodimus happened need to get over it... and so do the people who feel these folks need to be fought at every turn. Let's just enjoy the shenanigans at this point.

I’ve seen the movie too many times to care unless they decide to add the cut content in somehow.
I would love to see the cut Autobot city scenes. It would be great if they could clean up the section between when Optimus Arrives and starts his final fight with Megatron.

I wonder what the new scenes will be.

It’d be hilarious if the only thing different is that they add a post-credits thing that just says

“Optimus Prime will return in The Return of Optimus Prime”
That's basically what the UK version of the movie already does.

I'd pull up a clip to show what I mean, but after searching all over, it seems all clips of the UK ending have either been scrubbed from YouTube or buried deep beneath irrelevance.

Given there's no way in hell they'll do 2D animation, adding in 3D animated deleting scenes into a 2D film would be like tinfoil on teeth to me.
