Reminds me of Armada Unicron's silhouette minus all of the planet kibble.
Had that gut reaction too, a pretty pleasant push on a very specific nostalgia button.

It'd be pretty interesting if the Thirteen got retooled into various Unicron cultists and heralds and whatnot...

Pointblank is just a package refresh, right?

Kinda need Fangry, probably Joyride, gonna have to see the rest and make decisions from there...

The listing does specify "Headmasters", so idk if it'll be a head without the visor that the Rebirth-based Legacy one had. Seems like a lateral move, unless they also spring for the little blue wing piece.

Joyride would be nice if they work in a power master buddy....powermasters need some love in this line. Tailgate would be a must...though I liked the IDW figure if I'm upgrading Swerve I should upgrade Tailgate.

So when is this hypothetical wave? Due to me not having a clue which is what I feel like the preorders and releases keep skipping Swindle, and he's the last part of Bruticus I don't either have or have ordered.

...even Team Whirl.

If they make Pointblank's head more like the original toy, and more like the couple of screencaps I just glanced at on the wiki, I might pick him up this time around. The goofy Rebirth head is part of why I skipped him last time.

Definitely grabbing Tailgate, Swindle, and almost certainly Unicron Soldier.

Probably Vector Prime even though I have the Legacy one and an upgrade kit for it.

I wouldn't ordinarily get Fangry, but I intentionally got Squeezeplay and picked up Horri-Bull as a 4 pack extra, and since I have this opportunity, I should just complete the set, right?

While part of me wants to do a Power/Target/Headmaster collection and grab Pointblank and Joyride, but I need to cut back.

I appreciate the Megazarak redeco, and am glad it exists, but it's definitely not for me.

Pointblank features an alternate head that was planned for a Selects release, styled after his appearances in Headmasters.

Further info from the leak crew indicated that Joyride will have his Powermaster…a repaint of Sureshot’s Targetmaster partner. So not a “true” Powermaster, but I assume there will be tooling modifications to better differentiate between him and Sureshot.

The Siege Greenlight reissue is up for preorder at the usual places.

At this point, should we just have a dedicated thread for Reissues; they seem to be happening at a more frequent clip.

Kind of tempted by Greenlight? I've got a couple of Elita's squad, but I've mostly avoided the various remolds of the Siege girl-bot-car because it's not particularly good. The Battlemaster SHOULD be tempting, but it's disappointing that they molded the squirrelsword in the same colors as the solo release. The one bit that I'm 100% sold on is the flame effect part, but I don't know if that's enough. It wasn't last time Greenlight was for sale.

I'm getting her, since I want to complete Orthia. Greenlight being $300 or so on aftermarket discourged me from even getting the others I'm missing as I didnt want to have 4/5 a combiner.

I got mine first time around, and can't remember why. I was pleased as punch to see the toy I bought randomly(?) going for well more than what I paid for it.

Even MORE pleased that those who are (were) trying to move her for $300 are now going to have to adjust their expectations accordingly.

And even More, More pleased those who wanted her but couldn't get her can now do so with the only stupid price increase being the "Hellscape we currently live in" tax.

At this point, $40 is still a lot more reasonable then aftermarket prices, that I am not balking in the least about it. lol

That's about my experience too, yes. Paid a little extry for the set when it was first out and already scarce, and then was mystified at the price continuing to climb through and after the pandemic. And then Lancer showed up and oh, okay, they're doing this.

I'm always glad for a reissue of a hard-to-get thing, even when it's got nothing to do with me. Legacy's bonus wave of package refreshes was a big kindness for those of us who have no access to Botswana. The Phantomstrike set and this, and soon Runabout (I think?), have been and will be big sighs of relief for some. Scalpers can suck it, and those who wanted these for a reasonable price and amount of effort can be happy.
