I still have all my PCCs, and they all appear to be in good condition. Hopefully, I'll be giving them the weapons I got for them from Shapeways before it went kaput. If only Andrusi could get back in touch so that I had a better chance of figuring out which weapon goes with which guy...
Most of them are pretty interchangeable, with the only thing tying them to specific guys being my thought process. (In fact, IIRC Steamhammer's gun doesn't work very well for him--the handle being so far forward is a bad match for his short little forearms.) But I managed to find reference photos for two out of three sets, so:
This one's helpfully labeled, probably the exact image I put on Shapeways. Two of them have mold-specific features because they're for guys who don't have 5mm hands: Sledge's 5mm ports are on the undersides of his forearms, so I gave his gun the triangular feature that fits into his molded hands as a "handle," and Icepick doesn't actually have 5mm ports at all, so his gun has tabs on the sides that fit into various slots in the vicinity of his hands. (I think the vertical ones at the back fit into the slots on the backs of his wrist balljoints, and the horizontal ones further up can jam into the backs of his "fingers," but I don't have immediate physical access to an Icepick toy to confirm this.)
This one isn't labeled, but I remember what goes with who:
- Upper left: Skyburst
- Upper right: Bombshock
- Middle left: Mudslinger
- Middle right: Double Clutch
- Lower left: Grimstone
- Lower right: Steamhammer
The only one here with any mold-specific features is Double Clutch's. DC's another guy with weird hands and I didn't like the look of anything I could come up with that involved actually using them, so I gave his gun smaller pegs on the sides (I think they're 3mm?) so it could mount on the outside of his forearm using a peghole meant for his torso mode. As a pleasant side effect, it's also one of the few that can be used in vehicle mode, something I basically didn't take into consideration at all with any of these and you'd better believe I felt silly about it later.
So that just leaves the ones for the single-pack Autobots, which I don't have a photo for and I don't have any of them in arm's reach but I'll try to describe them as I remember them:
- Huffer's should be the easiest to pick out because nobody else can hold his. PCC Huffer is yet another guy with nonstandard hands, but in his case he has perfectly usable hands that are just a nonstandard size, so I gave his gun a slightly smaller peg to match. (He can actually share weapons with a couple of other random guys. The one I can remember offhand is Classics Mirage.)
- Searchlight's gun is supposed to look like T30 Blaze Master, because his United EX redeco Chopper Master is Blaze Master and I am very silly.
- Leadfoot's gun is very cylindrical, has a ring around it near the end like Undertow's (they're both referencing Rotor Force), and I'm pretty sure it had multiple 5mm pegs since he has yet another weird hand situation.
- Heavytread... honestly I don't remember what I did for him at all, other than that I probably tried to make it vaguely Combaticon-esque, but I'm pretty sure at this point you can identify it by process of elimination.
I forgot Bombshock's gun was just Onslaught's squished down into more limb-bot-y proportions.
