I really do need to watch Victory. I know the characters and such, but the only part of the fiction I know is from reading story recaps on the Wiki.
Just so you know (since you haven't seen Victory), there is no "Space Mafia". That was just me riffing on an old fandom misconception.

I knew I had heard the term before, so I thought I was just missing something from the fiction. I would have totally believed you. :ROFLMAO:

I do wish (despite not having one) that the option had been there to get an extra stand/spear parts set on the side, as DeathCobra looks like he'd benefit from both.

Can his nose-gun be hand-held?

The short version is that Black Shadow's original toy bio had the character Function of "Space Gangster", which was mistranslated back in the early 90s in a way that led people to believe that he and fellow Crossformer Blue Bacchus (whose toy bio gave him the Function of "Space Gunman" instead) were members of a clandestine "Space Mafia".

Thank you for the history lesson on this topic. I truly did not know this information and find it fascinating.

This is Transformers, nearly anything is believable. The Space Mafia could hire the Ninja Consultant to front the Maid Cafe from the Legends Manga to launder the money that Swindle made in the Axiom Nexus on Dark Tai themed merchandise sold from his storefront in the rebuilt Trypticon for all I know and I would have no idea if I was joking or not. Seriously, that might have happened in some continuity.

Sure, but only in a picture book sold exclusively by the corner store in Botswana.

This is one time I wish Hasbro would cluelessly canonize a fandom misconception.

Fixed that for you.

I'm gonna be real. If the intention isn't to suggest membership in some form of Space Organized Crime, then "Space Gangster" is not a meaningfully better translation than "Space Mafia."
