Wait, Ian Flynn isn't the head writer for Sonic IDW anymore? Why? Is there a write up where they explain the shake up?
Can we speculate without spoiler tags? I was thinking the coffin person is Mimic (I don't like the character) bonded with dead Starline. The final attack was a huge black 'star' shape.
Btw, while it's cute that Belle, Sage and Metal are sort of a family, I'm kinda over Belle. Just let her be Tinker 2.0 and stop involving her in Eggman related stuff.

There wasn't much to it, other than Ian got busy doing other projects. Localizing the script for Sonic Frontiers and a few other smaller games, and working more closely with Sega in different capacities, such as working on their Lore Team.

This all happened a while ago. And it's kind of hard to really notice, because he still does pop in to write the comic pretty frequently. It's just that technically, I think Evan Stanley's the one choosing the course of the comic now. But, they probably chat and collaborate on where to take things together.
How has Evan been taken by the fans? Did she create Clutch the possum? I did remember not really caring about those issues.

I honestly don't know how the fanbase at large feels about Evan Stanley. I don't really have a finger on the pulse of the larger fanbase, I guess.
I think Evan Stanley's...fine, personally. Honestly, I have a hard time really telling the difference between Ian-written issues and Evan-written issues. So, take that as you will.
