I liked one of his sarcastic sonnets. The plays could get frustrating. Like you couldn't get it without having to stop every other sentence to check the footnotes. Like the Shakespeare fans are so SURE you'll like his work if you only research the history of the play first, the actual meaning of the words as they meant back then, no you don't understand how clever this line is...
It could get annoying when it feels like the footnotes are telling you what to think, but without them it's really hard to understand.
Titus Andronicus is my least fave of his plays. Not a fan for the same reason I don't like Beserk.
