Yeah, I did a search on the site too, and did not see anything specifically related to a 3rd wave of Wheels.

Weird. I filtered by Blokees and still don't see any preorder info. Who all is in this wave?

In unrelated news, I recently got both Megajet and Gigatank, and they are so cool; lots of fun to combine!

Do you have an account there that you are currently logged into? I don't, so that might be a part of it.
Hmm. That very well could be the reason.

Sideswipe, Animated Lockdown, Springer (Helicopter), Drift, Wildrider, Dead End, Arcee, Alpha Trion (???), Blur, Kup, WW Grimlock, and Smokescreen.

That looks like a very tempting wave. Really like the '86 Movie crew, and those different versions of Lockdown and Springer, too.

I just installed the Blokees app and got set to scan alllll my QR codes, but annoyingly it only recognizes the more recent sets (Defender 4+, Galaxy 8+), at least so far. And no, scanning a code on the case doesn't automatically add in all the stuff in that case, I guess they don't want someone scanning boxes on the shelf looking for the chase figures. (Annoyingly, none of my Classic or Champion or other bigger sets are included.)

I assume scanning the little cards (formerly pogs/discs) the kits come with just adds the figure to a digital checklist and not some points based redemption thing?

I DO like filling out checklists (real or otherwise) and watching pointless numbers go up. (stupid FigPin)

Urgh, I took a chance at getting the four lightest boxes in Defender07 so I can get what I think would be the lightest (Snarl, Lio Convoy lion, Megastorm tiny Trypticon mold and extra Ratchet vehicle).

They turned out to be two Cliffjumpers and two Galvatrons.

Argh! Someone got to the box set before me and filled in the empty slots from another box set! I've been bamboozled!

This severely dampens the excitement for this line, for me. Really just true blind packing in general.

(Snip whining)

Shopping for these in the wild is, well, wild. Just happening upon a case as it's opened at least has you just grappling with pure luck, but that's hardly a common experience. But once you get there and there's two or three opened cases, it's Chinatown. Except parts of it may be Koreatown, you have no way of knowing. (At least Blokees started wrapping each box in plastic now, which has hopefully cut down on staff messing with and resealing boxes once they know which ones to weed out. Although to be fair I've only heard of that happening as gossip.)

All that aside, I've got an extra Gigastorm, lmk if you can use it. It's yours, just pay for delivery.

I just got the Defender Sludge and his pieces of that type are light gray, so maybe it was an extra from Defender Snarl?
Can confirm Defender Snarl incorporates a few solid gray versions of the Galaxy ankle piece.

Yeah, just sets up a checklist, although it gives your list a point value (completion, how many chase figures you have) and compares your score to the score of other users. (It's under the "get poster" link in collections). For instance, I have 75% of Defender Version 05, beating 81% of users. 75% is as good as you can get from just buying a case of 05, but you can get 76% for 06 by buying a case and the Bruticus pieces. I don't have any non-Defenders new enough to be in the checklist, though.

Is annoying older series aren't counted. I'd hope for an update to include them, but I think the difference in the included qr codes might have something to do with that.

That and, according to the wiki, once older sets are done in China, they're done. They won't show up anymore, and with Blokees being a Chinese company and decide what's on the app....

Been there. The safest bet is to buy by the box set. No doubles, but you’re chasing the wave exclusive.
