Does it work if you turn the head around? I haven't seen the mold around here yet to have even looked at it in package.

That means that instead of the roof scratching the face, its the hinge the head and neck assembly is attached to scratching the face.

i'm debating whether to assemble him or the blokees bruticus... they both look good but for reasons i'd like to have all the combaticons' alt modes on display also. has to be one or the other. yesh
I don't much like Blokees Bruticus since he's kind of lanky and a midway compromise between toy and cartoon. Not that Lucky Cat Bruticus is any more accurate but he's got his charms and aside from the sky blue on Vortex, I much prefer his colors.
i mean most of the blokees are some sort of compromise between show/comic/etc accurate and what they have to do to fit the blokees buildable mold. w/ the g1 characters, they do add a lot of their own spin to the designs... that's just how it is. correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think 100% accuracy is their goal. i don't mind it but that's just a personal opinion. but yeah no the lankiness might be a problem ive heard the combiners aren't very sturdy
chibi bruticus does have great colors ( also his gun design. good stuff
I don't mind that they did a compromise. It's how they went about it. Like, the Bruticus chest is clearly designed to be closer to the toy chestplate, so I think painting it like the cartoon chest does a disservice to both with no real reason to do so. Either design the chest to be the shuttle wings to begin with or just make it gray/silver.
On the other hand, they get Wild King, while we get Cyberworld. At least they get elbows.

I think it's meant to go with this Primus who's also a smaller and shittier version of the original.
The best part is that it comes in what I assume is supposed to be an Energon Unicron homage but they fucked that one up too
