Wait, so Sentinel Prime is Voyager Tarn painted yellow, with a shield? For $70? Nah, son.
He's he's heavily retooled, but yeah, way overpriced.

Especially when you have that 3 pack with a retooled deluxe, another deluxe and a voyager for $90, which is cheaper than 2 deluxes and a voyager seperately.

Are those collector coins? How does one even obtain those?

My few attempts at painting figures really haven't gone well at all. That's definitely not where my talents lie. That said, I've been trying to psych myself up to trying a few customs for things that it's clear I'll never get otherwise. It's been a process that I've been working on since... Combiner Wars. I'll get there one of these days.
you could also use large, clear blue tape (cut to fit) and apply it over the windshield. If you make a mistake, you can remove it and try again.

I think the (comparative, I still remember $25 three packs, IN MY DAY...) price for the multipack probably is due to them all being commonly reused molds. A great many variations and recolors have already come out of these molds, so they're probably not having to do as much lifting as the major Tarn remold, which only got a couple recolors from each of its various existing remolds before this happened.

With Hound, it doesn't matter imo since its such a small piece that has no real stress points. Its not like like Ironhide where a lot of him is clear plastic and all of it kinda needs to be forced together to transform him, or Jazz where its a fairly large area with multiple joints that need to be manipulated back and forth. Hound with clear plastic chances of breakage is fairly low compared to those examples.
And on the other side of the scale, Hound benefits more aesthetically from a transparent windshield than usual. Not only is he one of those guys where there's actually something to see through it other than robot parts, but he's a rare case where you can see the the back side of the windshield in var mode.

Just got my Liege Maximo. A bit of a warning after transforming him once, The two little tabs on the back of his legs that lock the bottom half of the alt mode to the top half already have stress marks, do to the connection being very tight on my copy. Just use caution when transforming, as those two tabs are all that hold top and bottom halves together.

Preordered Sentinel at BBTS. Liege Maximo is supposedly on the way from Pulse, but given what happened with LioKaiser, I'm not optimistic.
