I really like the Sentinel Prime. The accessory doesn't do much for me. I skipped Onyx, so I'm one short on the artifacts, and even if I did have them all, they don't really interact with it in any meaningful way. Like, it would be cool if the Conduit was some sort of machine where all the artifacts had some sort of function. Maybe Megatronus's cannon is mounted with Alchemist's lenses in front of it to focus the beam onto Quintus's crystal etc. etc. etc.
It would give it more of that "is it mundane-but-advanced mechanical or mystical?" feel that I would prefer from the 13.

I wish they'd rerelease this as a Halo of Primus, with gaps for the Prime Masters to fit within, where the symbols currently are. (And maybe for the names to be in Cybertronian instead). There were are some nice 3D printed efforts out there and one prohibitively expensive copy thereof with cool clear Prime Masters that I can no longer find on eBay.

I'll be honest, I actually expected this artifact thing to actually BE Primus, not necessarily a Titan or up, but some representation of him, where each part would plug in to do something Transformers Energon Cyber-Key style. I know in the modern era spring loaded and light/sound gimmicks are rare but even a 'part folds out to take the artifact and Inspector Gadget it into something useful' would have been nice. But that's clearly beyond the scope they intended.

This may be the one Prime I skip on. This one just doesn't do much for me.

If Sentinel had the full Apex Armor rig he had in Megatron Origin, I might be interested, but as is, I'm not seeing enough value for the price tag. A disk for displaying parts from a bunch of other toys, several of which I have no interest in buying, doesn't do it for me.

I always thought it’d be cool if they repainted the AEC Primes as Sentinel-Zeta-Nova.

Sentinel’s Apex rig would work wonderfully for the Armada Combination.

Zeta always seemed like a pretty big dude and you could remold the limbs to be the Vamparc cannons.

We already know Zeta looks great as the Cybertron Prime since they actually did do that one as far as the design goes.

This is why I don't like the new scale for Studio Series Optimus and Megatron. (And that Galvatron who's been released like a half dozen times) I have two many figures that rely on the old sizing scheme - pre-war vesions of OP and Megatron, Jhiaxus, Tarn. Now Sentinal Prime looks shrimpy next to them.

Also the 3-pack has in-hand shots as well, and you can indeed orient Mirage's shoulder canon in the correct way.

However, I'm thinking of passing, frankly the disk thing is a waste of space to someone who hasn't bothered to collect all of the so called Primes
First, "so called Primes"? What? That's what they are.

Secondly, the disc's central part can be used by Sentinel as a shield. Which works nicely, as he had a shield in Sunbow G1, Animated, DotM, and TFO.
So it does have functionality even if you don't have all the Prime artifacts.

Mirage seems more retooled than I thought initially. And yet it feels like it's still mostly the figure I have. So far the other two still seem like the big draws.

But whatever, keep giving me more opaque plastic sets. A Jazz/Smokescreen/Windcharger (who really should have been done with opaques to begin with) would be great. But I imagine they'll want to do one with a Ratchet (as well they should, although I'm holding on to the Earthrise one).

Yeah, that's why I still haven't bought SS Prime. I'm perfectly happy with the Earthrise one, both in general looks and better scaling with most every other figure I own. I did buy SS Megatron, but he's off on his own standing on my desk while Siege Megatron leads my shelves of Decepticons.
