6 - Player (US, EU roms)

The online is seriously lacking. I've had a LOT of slowdown...glitches when people join or drop. Hopefully they patch this. Because as it stands now, Online is borderline unplayable.
Offliine, this is a dream. I have it on PS3, but my PS3 controllers developed massive drift forcing me to get not-so-great 3rd party controllers. So being able to play this again is a dream. Absolutely fabulous.
Captain America And The Avengers
Arcade - EU, US roms, Credits (I don't know what this is. I'm assuming it's the ability to add more credits/lives), Lives per credit 1-6, Difficulty 1-4
Megadrive - Cheats (infinite health, infinite lives)
8-Bit (which usually means NES) - Cheats (infinite health, infinite lives)
I only played the arcade version. It's an okay brawler. Problem is (and the same problem the other brawlers in this collection have) is that if I'm going to play a brawler, I'm going to play the X-Men arcade.
Maximum Carnage
Super NIntendo - Cheats - Infinite health, infinite lives)
Megadrive - Cheats (infinite health, infinite lives)
Again, same same issue as the other brawlers in this package. It's an okay game. But if I'm going to play a brawler, I'm going to play the X-Men Arcade game.
Venom + Spiderman: Separation Anxiety
Super NIntendo - Cheats - Infinite health, infinite lives)
Megadrive - Cheats (infinite health, infinite lives)
Again, same same issue as the other brawlers in this package. It's an okay game. But if I'm going to play a brawler, I'm going to play the X-Men Arcade game.
SpiderMan X-Men Arcade's Revenge
Super Nintendo - Cheats (infinite lives)
Megadrive - Cheats (infinite lives)
Gamegear - Cheats (Infinite lives, infinite health)
Gameboy - Cheats (Infinite Lives, Infinite health)
Let me just say, back in the day, when you got a game, if it sucked, to bad. That game is expensive, that's the game you asked for, that's the game your parents got you...and so that is the game you will be sinking your time into. So even bad games, you learn to love. That is the kind of love I have for the SNES version. Objectively, it was difficult to the point of frustration. But I love it because I owned it. I've only played the SNES version (limited time with the actual Genesis version). So I can't really say much about the other versions.
Silver Surfer
Cheats (infinite health, Infinite Bombs, Infinite Lives)
This is absolutely as bad as the AVGN says it is. If you decide to play this, use the cheats, be prepared to rewind a lot, or be prepared to throw your controller. This game...it sucks hard.
Over All
I'm still happy I got this, and I'm keeping my preorder for the Switch physical. It's mostly for the X-Men arcade game. But seriously...for me...if that's all that was in this package...it would still be worth it for me.
Edit to add
The extras are pretty bare bones.
Manual scans for the home console games. - Bare minimum for these kinds of collections.
Box Art - Meh
Advertisements - basically scans of magazine ads.
Official Artwork - Three whole pictures: 1 for Maximum Carnage, 1 for Arcad'es Revenge and one for Silver Surfer.
Design Documents - Looks like some behind the scenes breakdown document of Maximum Carnage.
Music Player - Now this I love...but then again, I love video game music. And if you've bought other video game collections, you also know this is bare minimum.
