I'd love to get into the Diaclone stuff. It all looks so cool. But the prices started out insane and have gotten even more asinine as time has gone on.
That one toy being $400? hug no. Like, I cannot stress enough just how much of a nope that price is. I'd rather spend that money on the 2 tower transformers from Archecore.

I have cherry picked Diaclone over the years and I have enough to make me happy. I don't go for everything, and I really like the smaller sets that include Dianauts and maybe a few vehicles. It's very fun world building and goes together really well with modern Transformers (for dios and such). I see that he's $409 through TF Source (the only stateside place I currently see it offered). HLJ shows about $270 but I'm not sure what shipping would be, or how that company is.
At the end of the day, this is a cool curiosity that, were it easier to obtain, I would be all over at the $200 mark. Double that though is where they lose me.

Hasbro Pulse just listed it for $300. Better than $400, but still too pricey for me. I think it's neat, but I don't collect Zoids or Diaclone, so it's nothing I need.

There's a lot going on with it, that's for sure.
As with much of the Diaclone Reboot toys, though, I am mainly interested in the smaller vehicles. I do like the modular spaceship(s) that appear to be a part of this set (can't recall if was part of the original Reboot Diabattles because I sold mine off years ago). But yeah, I am not particularly motivated to pick this up.

The new version looks kinda spindly compared to the original. The original just looks Solid.
