I love the look of this and I adore the Energon homage.
But I paid $120 for the original version. I like it. I don't feel like I overpaid. Still, over double that for an evil repaint? No, thank you.
It was £160 something for me. I want this Nemesis but, yeah…

Honestly, I was expecting closer to $300. Still a lot, though.
Yeah, really at a loss here. Between this being a Nemesis Prime and the neat Energon homage that I'd warmed up to, I was starting to come around to paying something similar to what I did for Star Optimus. I've gone back and forth on feeling like I overpaid for that, but I've since settled on "at least it wasn't 'actual' Titan price". But this goes BEYOND that, so... (Heavy sigh)
Everyone who complained about AOTP Star Convoy's price being 'too much' owes me $50.
Star Convoy's price was pretty decent for a Titan. Yeah it was a smaller Titan but they lowered the price to account for that.
Like I said, it felt like a lot. But bringing the thing home and feeling the heft in that box was reassuring. Just a big, big amount to drop in one go under my circumstances then (and now really).
THIS is just how in the hell.
On the bright side, YAY!, it comes with the micro-trailer! On the downside...yeah...

It's a fantastic toy and this deco looks great, but there is no justifying that price. That's just a "Because we can" tax.

Makes me wonder how much Gigastorm will be, it's not just a recolor, it's retooled for the horn and Titanmaster, plus it's one of the biggest Deceptions ever made, from a different era of budgets.

Nemesis Star Convoy - I'm very glad he doesn't come with a black Hot Rod. I have absolutely no interest in either NSC or this Shockwave. I would have been very tempted by Hot Rod. It would be absolutely insane to pay import Titan prices for a Core-class Hot Rod... but I would be very, very tempted. So this is a big relief for me.
Gigastorm - I'm really torn on this one. I'd like to get him, but money and space say that I'm very unlikely to do so. If I believed they'd eventually do the entire BWII cast, I'd be more tempted, but I don't see it happening in the forseeable future.
Galvatron - A very pleasant surprise. I'll almost certainly be getting him. I want to see more of course, and especially how he stacks up with the other BW leaders, but there would have to be something very wrong to scare me off.
