Compatible limb figures! (They must be, since some of them appear to be straight redecos). That's good news for me, since I only have two...

Hasbro's weird ass refusal to even stock these things on Hasbro Pulse remains baffling.

I get not putting them in brick and mortar stores so as not to compete with Cyberworld, but givem how often they carry Takara-only items on Pulse, yeah, that IS odd
Honestly, I'm not sure why it isn't a subline of Cyberworld. Seems like the concept could be shoehorned into a game within the Cyberworld framework without affecting the overall story plan, assuming they wanted to showcase these in an episode or two. Even if they were online-exclusive, a domestic release would be very welcome.

I'm not collecting Wild King but that's primarily a space concern. These look incredibly fun and the new t-rex torso is awesome.
Yeah, in terms of transformation,, articulation, and integration of the limb-bots, it's a big step up from Optimus and Megatron

Or BigBadToyStore, or Entertainment Earth. Usually there's some way that isn't HLJ or Amazon Japan to import JTF, right?
This happened to me when I was collecting Time Bokan 24's figures. Import stores like BBTS and the like just skipped the line entirely, I had to use amiami and HLJ the whole time. Clearly there's some cut off for "we don't think our adult collectors want THESE kids toys".

Damn. I was content skipping the line, but now I want Rexblade.

If you give a Mollusk a Rexblade,
he's going to want an Energy Beast to go with it.

And if you give him an Energy Beast,
then he's going to need a World Dragonus to fight.

And if you give him a Dragonus.....

I like how they started with Megatron and Optimus. Safe stuff... and then a RiD Megatron homage. Now you have this t-rex-car-robot triple changer and it's like yeah. It's called Wild King. Get wild with it. The safe guys got the line a footing, now lean in and go nuts.

This line stays winning. I'm not after Rexblade, although his partner is probably going to Frost Saber me into getting the set. Also one of the posts on this I've seen mentioned a "special sword" that retailers might offer with the pack, which may be a returning or new campaign item idk.

But the Energy Beasts look very nice. I almost wish I'd skipped Dragknight Thunderbeak for this one. Definitely getting that hippo. I do wish they hadn't done same-character redecos (Lightlong flame energy ver) and just made them new characters, but they'll probably work these power swaps into the show (?) or something. Either way, very glad this line is still going. One of the more refreshing things we've seen in years.

Yeah, it is a campaign item. A yellow recolor of his sword, "Rexcalibur (Special Color ver.)". Available with early preorders of the figure:
