That's certainly also possible, and also a case of "I'd be stuck buying two things I don't want to get one that I do". But I'm content with how I made my point.

... it might get me if it's some cheatsy Reformatting 3-pack where Galvatron is in full-on reformatting deco (a lavish, more detailed take specifically with the grids/schematics), and Scourge is half in reformatting deco, and Cyclonus only has little bits of it on the edges of the wings or something...

Dramatic Capture Series could make a a Galvatron with two Cyclonuses and a separate Scourge with two Sweeps.

or a clear Megs/Galvatron, clear Thundercracker, Kickback and Shrapnel/Scourge and clear skywarp and Bombshell with Cyclonus

I'm sure it's just confirmation bias, but man Cyclonus gets a lot of color screwups, doesn't he? Cyclomaster actually looks pretty good, Swindlonus looks like he'd be a GPS candidate. First Brawn is pretty plain in vehicle mode, but give him the toon faceplate head and that's a pretty good G1 Autotrooper.

I wonder if it's a carryover from Cyclonus's "armada"-- it's reasonable to assume that at one point he was supposed to have his own troops like Scourge did, and the Movie wasn't done yet when Season 3 was starting production.

And somehow the color people heard there's only one Cyclonus now when clearly the lineart predated that memo.

that's my total guess; feel free to demolish it with FACTS and LOGIC or HE TELL ME, whichever is more entertaining
