I don't really have the room but ughhhbhb between Nemesis Prime and likely Dark Hot Rod/whatever version of that we get, I'll probably have to throw down for this

Looking closer at the shoulders, they seem to resemble the two-colored shoulders of CR Black Convoy/RiD 2001 Scourge. If Takara's using Hasbro names for this line, it could be "Star Scourge".

Then again, the first toy released in this line used "Lio Convoy" rather than "Leo Prime", so who really knows if it'll be some variation of "Nemesis Prime", "Black Convoy", or "Scourge".

Man, if it's a version of Black Convoy...

How cool would that be? He could be the Commandos' leader, base, and mode of transportation!

Dang, now I want Micromaster-sized Commandos that can form a mini-Ruination instead of (or in addition to) a black Hot Rod repaint.

Hehe. That still works as an evil Prime name. BlackStar Convoy would work for a Scourge type.

Also, if Takara makes Micro Hot Rod an SG Rodimus and not just Dark Hot Rod. And paints the ‘Stache of Evil on that tiny face. I will be very happy.

Knowing Takara, it would probably be "Star Black Convoy" if they go with a Japanese name.

On the one hand, the two-colored shoulders make me think this could be an upgraded form of CR Black Convoy, but on the other hand, the G2 Menasor manga chapter ended with Missing Link Nemesis Prime first coming to life, so it could be an upgrade of her instead.

This being a new color scheme on a remake of a 1991 design, I assume.

Either way my wallet quakes in anticipation of Black Hole Convoy.

A name I'm surprised Takara has never used for a dark-colored Convoy (and which would be a cool name for this one) is "Shadow Convoy".
