Made a custom Gotham by Gaslight Batman out of Western World Batman with the head from the black and grey variant of Knightfall Batman, to fight my custom Phantom of the Opera.

Some new Mattel Core stuff has leaked out. This time, a pair of Batman battle sets:
Batman vs Killer Croc
Batman vs Clayface

Each villain is actually noticably larger than the base 6.5” Batman figure. I DO appreciate each Batman figure is fairly distinct, with Killer Croc’s novel tactical gear and the more “classic” Rebirth Batman with Clayface (who appears to have some sort of gimmick associated with his chest, maybe alternate head?). No further details, but I’d peg retail around $25

Fun to see the grey and black variant along with the blue and grey
Though, I think it would be MORE fun if the blue and grey had that oval sigil like on the packaging… :p

Also, I’m continually amused that any time these collector oriented sites, like DC Collectors or TNI, cover a Mattel product, they have the utter NEED to stress that this stuff is “for the kids, not collectors!”

It's because these figures have limited articulation compared to both McFarlane's stuff and Hasbro's Marvel Legends. So they're trying to keep expectations honest.

More official images of wave 1 DC Core, including good looks at the accessory sprues. Reportedly, the line should start hitting retailers in the next week and a half (likely co-shipping with Mattel's big MOTU push)
It's been over a month and despite the live action MotU stuff hitting shelves.... no sign of Mattel DC. Retailers may have gotten it, but they're not putting it out.

I think people are just putting out dates. That said, Amazon UK has this Batlink Cycle with Robin figure available for purchase with delivery in a couple weeks.

More than likely, online venues will start getting their orders out in a couple weeks, but I wouldn't expect physical stores to actually stock anything until the fall resets around September.

This is just me speculating, but I suspect it has to do with contracts. DC split the toy licence between kids products (SpinMaster) and adult collectables (McFarlane). They unified them again with Mattel.

We know Mattel's collector oriented stuff can't show up until 2027, because McFarlane's licence runs through 2026. It's possible that SpinMaster's licence runs through to the summer of this year. So even though SpinMaster seems to have punted for the last six months of their contract, Mattel might not legally be allowed to take that shelf space for "kids DC" stuff until that contract fully expires. Mattel could have shipped that product with their MotU movie figures, but retailers have to keep it held back until SpinMaster's contract is finally fully expired.

This makes some sense in that next month (ie a few weeks, when that cycle you linked ships) will be the middle of 2026, and it seems logical that these contracts would be negotiated in increments of full and half years. McFarlane's runs until the end of 2026, SpinMaster's runs until 2026's midpoint. And we're not quite there yet.

Further pointing to a summer release, more promo images have come out of more Mattel Core offerings.

The Batlink Batarangs Roleplay toys come 2 to a pack and have interactions with other Batlink toys (like the above Robin cycle and the upcoming Batmobile)

Next is a pair of multipacks, featuring a pair of heroes against a villain. One is a Mr Freeze and anti-Freeze Batman joined by Green Lantern Hal Jordan. The other is Nightwing and very Hush inspired Batman battling against Bane.

Promo images for the 12" Titan style figures (now sporting less articulation, btw) as well as the gimmick laden Crime Buster Batman large scale figure...but I didn't think many would be interested in those.
