It's a weird thing. These are Mattel's replacements for SpinMaster's kid's stuff. They have to wait until 2027 to roll out their collector stuff that will replace McFarlane's DC lines.More official images of wave 1 DC Core, including good looks at the accessory sprues. Reportedly, the line should start hitting retailers in the next week and a half (likely co-shipping with Mattel's big MOTU push)

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out. Assuming it doesn’t sell out instantly@Steevy Maximus
Something you may be interested in. So apparently there was a leak list of EVERYTHING McFarlane Toys is planning to release in their DC line before their licence runs out, and Matt Fraction's Batman is on it.
Too early to confirm, but the whispers are out there.
I can't shake the feeling that Mattel is going to launch their collector's line in 2027 with both an Absolute and Fraction Batman. Two Batmen may be a bit much, but "too much Batman" has been a mantra with DC lines since forever. And with the comics popping off like they are, it's probably easier to justify. Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out. Assuming it doesn’t sell out instantly
But I’m also a man of simple tastes (probably why I like Fraction’s run! Heyo!), which is why I was a bit disappointed at how close the Mattel Core figure is to being what I’d be completely satisfied with, especially at $12 (compared to the $25+ of McFarlane).
