I'm saying they don't do the remastering themselves.

Not really where I was going with it, but more that maybe they could have had a more recent release or something that would be easier to preserve, if not the original.

Sunrise has been owned by Bandai (currently by Bandai Namco after that merger) since 1994.

Ah, I see. Thanks.

I realize this is wildly off topic for the Eighties Transformers Anime Remaster Thread, but Blokees Wheels Cosmos is really funny. He goes spinny spinny.

Question, but is anyone out there selling the stands that go with the Galaxy version Blokees releases by themselves? If not, can anyone point me towards a good, relatively cheap equivalent?

When no deep-space missions are going on, Cosmos moonlights as a fidget spinner for Metroplex.
Someone needs to either draw this, or if the scale works out, use Titan Metroplex for it.

Dipped my toes in the water for the first time with a Blokees set with the Ark Storage Box:

It does what it says on the tin. Looks like the Ark (which I have sadly little representation of in my collection; couldn't swing the Titan figure), and opens easily to store small accessories.

It's a model ship to make a certain Cybertronian proud. Not sure how many more I will really buy, non-transforming Transformers are not high on my priority list, and the blind-box nature of the small guys is kind of a non-starter with my budget, but if they make more ships, I may be starting a sub-collection...

I just realized that I need someone to make a ship-in-a-bottle Ark. Like, classical wood base and everything just like your standard sailboat version, but with a G1 Ark inside.

Completely random question. All the Galaxy class figures have always used the little transparent pieces that are just a post with a ball at one end for the ankles (and necks on the first few waves). They've always been transparent on every figure I can recall.

I found one of those pieces on my desk the other day, except it's opaque light gray plastic. It's definitely that same mold. I just have no idea what figure it would have come with to not be transparent.

I've been getting all the Galaxy and Shining waves, each Defender wave except the latest one (hasn't come in yet), a few TF One Champion Class, and two Wheels releases (Megatron and Rodimus). I also have the Devastator and Bruticus combining kits. I was guessing it was maybe from Bruticus, but I checked his instructions and don't see any of those pieces.

Anyone have any idea where this gray piece might have come from? I'm sure it's just an extra piece that I could throw away, but not knowing what kit it came from is driving me nuts.

I just got the Defender Sludge and his pieces of that type are light gray, so maybe it was an extra from Defender Snarl?

They always include a few spares of tiny but necessary pieces, much like Lego does. The gray clear bits are mostly ankles these days, and used to be used as necks before they changed the chest pieces to be bigger and have their own neck struts (or in Alpha Trion's case, using the two-ball pieces as necks). I tend to stick these somewhere on the figure once I'm done with assembly, several figures are using them as karaoke microphones.

I just installed the Blokees app and got set to scan alllll my QR codes, but annoyingly it only recognizes the more recent sets (Defender 4+, Galaxy 8+), at least so far. And no, scanning a code on the case doesn't automatically add in all the stuff in that case, I guess they don't want someone scanning boxes on the shelf looking for the chase figures. (Annoyingly, none of my Classic or Champion or other bigger sets are included.)
