These trailers continue to be a bit over-produced for my liking.

I like what I'm seeing for the suits. They're slick.

The mechs/spaceships are...interesting. I'm holding off my judgment a bit until we see more. I'm interested, but I'm not sure if I like it or not. With how many mechs/ships there are, it almost seems like they're going for a Vehicle Voltron type thing. But, given how the mech in the original show transformed...I don't think we've seen all the secrets this main mech has to offer, quite yet. I'm not sure if we're getting a new space-dragon...but I can how this main mech COULD transform into another giant mecha-dragon.

The main mecha for the new show (the transforming robot gun) is more an offshot on the current mecha for the current super sentai show where the robot turns into a glove/weapon that a kid can wear. Apparently the glove-robot idea was really popular this year according to Amazon Japan and I guess they are hoping to duplicate its popularity with the robot tranforming gun.

So, the final episode of Ultraman Omega aired this weekend, and a new series of New Generation Stars will start soon.

So, they waited the entire series to do the whole "Ultra saves the hero's life by bonding with him" trope in the last episode! I honestly did not see that coming by that point! Not sure how that will play out in the new series, or if it even will (do the human hosts appear in the New Generation Stars series?).
I really liked this series, it had a lot of new kaiju and a fairly interesting dynamic, and I hope we see more of Omega beyond the next series.

Another Gavan Infinity trailer!

I'm not sure why, but I'm a little surprised at the cute mascot character existing.

It does seem like they're continuing the theme of "partnership" with at least a few of these Metal Heroes. It looks like some of them have partners that work with them back at the base, like in past Space Sheriff shows.

First female transforming Space Sheriff. Hopefully she does better than the last gold plated Space Sheriff who's doing time for selling out the organization.

So this episode 0 is mostly a recap of Ryuga's story to catch people up, but the end sets up the series. The official upload is also machine translated, and there's a few spots where it gets the context wrong, just as a slight FYI if the text doesn't quite seem to match the scene.

For those interested, Amazon has a listing up for an Ultraman Great and Ultraman Powered Blu Ray release from Mill Creek. No image yet, it says Currently Unavailable, but with a release date of May 12, 2026, so hopefully a preorder will go up soon. Says English language, but also with subtitles, not much else for details. I'm excited, as I've only ever seen random parts of episodes from these.

EDIT: preorder and pics are up!
Listing still says Great and Powered, but the cover says Towards the Future and Ultimate Hero, so cool! Got my preorder in!

Hopefully they can get an Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy set out, too...
