Could be worse. I look at the combined form, and I keep getting Ronald McDonald impressions for it, though for the life of me I'm not sure why. I think it's the golden mouth arches or something...

Edit: You know, Jetfire IS technically a space alien, all these guns and their accessories could just be his probes.

So, Armada Jetfire is up for Preorder, so are a lot of the Studio Series reveals...and Swindle still isn't...

I've pre-ordered Jetfire after a couple of attempts, something going wrong with the CVC code on my card despite entering the correct numbers, also pre-ordered Studio series Devestation BB, the other stuff I wasn't intersted in getting, so got to wait until October now!

Fair point. Didn’t realise Tap Out is more Cliffy than Bee. Though you could still get him out of the SS86 mold, if Hasbro does potentially retool into Cliffy.

I feel that they've put more effort, etc into updating Micron Densetsu than Car Robots recently.

For Hasbro the Car Robots was to be a filler line after they abandoned Transtech in favour of Amarda, so they taken more of a interst in that line for some reason, but then they not exactly done Cybertron much justice outside of Starscream & Hot Shot, yet the only line from that era that's only had a single toy as the smallest class is Beast Machines, G2 gotten quite a bit of attention, thou that mostly been straight up repaints of existing figures!

Metroplex and Override got figures as well.

I forgot about those, Override is a pretty cool figure, better than the original, thou I think those in charge of TF have prioties all over the place of late, personally most of the AOP line Primes, I've passed on as they not been much interst to me and just kind of, well bland with the only ones capturing my attention being the Fallen and Star Convoy!

Plus Armada/Energon/Cybertron were, to one extent or another, hugely gimmick-based, and in the modern day, it will usually come across as more of a model OF the character the original toy was made for, rather than a remake of the toy anyone remembers. The number of gimmicks molded into Armada Megatron, for example, that someone with a knowledge of that old toy would recognize, but those details are functionally meaningless unless you already know what they used to do.

I’ve got to admit. If and when Overload happens, i kinda want an Energon Ultra Magnus repaint more.

New Jetfire looks great in allmodes. But the combined mode really does look great and well articulated for having to be a figure too. The effort really pays off.

Not getting Energon Ultra Magnus is a regret. I got look about once a year on eBay for him and just cant pull the trigger.
