Toys Ready for takeoff: AOTP Armada universe Jetfire and Space Mini-Con Team revealed!

With the recent splashdown (not that one) of the Artemis II crew still fresh in our memories, there's apparently no time like the present to find out what the long-awaited Age of the Primes Armada universe Jetfire looks like! Comicbook.com comes in hot with the first pictures of the new Commander class reveal... who makes planetfall with a set of little friends!

Standing at 8 inches tall in his accurately chonky robot mode, Jetfire turns into both the familiar shuttle mode (after 41 steps) and into his famous Star Bob Space Pants mode to combine with Commander class Armada universe Optimus Prime, just like old times. Comicbook.com also notes that "Mini-Con Astroscope, Mini-Con Skyblast, and Mini-Con Payload" combine to form the Requiem Blaster.

More pictures from the official Transformers Facebook account, showing off the packaging and the Requiem Blaster:

That Requiem Blaster is a nice touch to add! I don't think that I will pick this one up though. $100 is a bit high for a toy that I pretty much just used for Prime to have some different pants. :) Glad to see that old McDuckFire is back though!

Hope these Mini-Cons hold together better than the originals, though I'm not holding my breath.

Optimistic too. I mean, I know we onky have the Jolt from Powerlinx Hot Shot and Whisper from SG Sideswipe to go on, but I have at least a little hope they’ll be solid.

Jetfire looks pretty good. Chunky, but in a good way. Kindof a shame they picked Requiem team over Commettor, but I guess I can see why.

Also, I wonder if this might mean that the Skyboom team might eventually appear with a hypothetical new Overload figure.
