Now that the dust has settled, here's an idea I was working on for this year's April Fool's Day until Hasbro rained on my parade.

Introducing: Beast Wars Transformers 30th Anniversary. A celebration of Hasbro's favorite characters in the beloved animated series.

Thanks a lot, Hasbro. You couldn't wait six bloody days, could you?

You forgot to add a second Autobot symbol to Optimus Prime's other shoulder, as both of his shoulders had them on his BW model (Silverbolt even plugged in the life-support system into his other shoulder's insignia instead of the one that always has the insignia). ;)

Should have just ran with it as the next 30th anniversary multipack, lol.

It didn't feel right anymore. I can't jab at Hasbro for not doing a thing now that they're actually doing it.

I don't think I get it...

Beast Wars 30th Anniversary line but there's zero Beast Wars characters in it. It's a joke about Beast Wars getting ignored in its own anniversary again.

Oh yes, I get it now (@Dvandom unpacked it for me). Just didn't immediately get that that was what I was looking at.

Starscream's colors are basically those of his Marvel Universe profile art, so it could double as a version of Marvel Starscream too.

Also not THAT far off his Pretender incarnation, which was MY Starscream.

Although, I think the strongest April Fool’s came from Hasbro, with the Operation: Prime Edition. A version of operation where the patient is Optimus Prime. What made it so effective was that, truthfully, it wouldn’t be the weirdest crossover the brand has seen in recent years.

Joke's on them though. That was my master plan all along. I was tempting fate outright poking fate with a stick to get Hasbro to rain on my parade by actually doing something for the anniversary.

The last few years have made it clear that the universe likes to troll me in particular, so I might as well weaponize this for the greater good.
