I was slightly surprised that this series has yet to get a thread here, but not to worry, I'll kick things off!

But first, a teaser to introduce the concept! It'll get a context later, I assure you.

And here's a full trailer, giving us a bit more of the cast, setting, and stakes. Because of course there would be stakes....

Aaaaand here's the pilot episode!

I'm which we are introduced to our ensemble, the setting, and the format.

Basically, if Reboot and "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" had a kid that then ran away from home, it might look something like this.....

"Wake up, Pomni, we've got Episode 2 ready for you!"

A bit of Reboot nostalgia comes to the fore when Caine sends (most of) the gang to a Candy Kingdom to retrieve a truck full of syrup that had been stolen by Australian gummy croc bandits.

Nothing goes to plan, of course.

Yeah, that hit really hard.

The story thread also shows the development changes/alternate interpretations compared to Reboot -- where Mainframe's binomes were aware of being programs and relatively happy to be repurposed from business to gaming (despite the ever-present threat of nullification), the purpose-built game character in TADC has an existential crisis upon learning that all that he knows may be false memory.

(Hmmm, that sounds familiar.)

So is Caine really worried that he won't be able to tell who's who if game "sprites" learn and develop? Or is something else going on? He definitely seems to have some odd and sudden changes of mood when these topics come up....

Anyway, amongst our human (more or less) cast, I find it interesting that the self-described "funny one" (Jax) is heavily into carnage without consequences, while the Cloud Cookoolander (Kinger) seems to generate more genuine laughs.

But then, as Mel Brooks put it, "Tragedy is when I cut my finger, comedy is when you fall down the stairs." And Jax is not without his fans....

Just slllliightly out of sequence in my presentation of bideos (as we've seen episode 2 already now), here's a look ahead to the rest of the series, as well as some "moichandizing" announcements that wouldn't have been out of place in Spaceballs: The Old One, and an oddly placed lore drop that acknowledged (and chastized?) the fandom already circling and doing what fans do.

More episodes will be shown here, but first...

When The Amazing Digital Circus made its debut two years ago (already?!), it got a lot of attention across the fragmented Internet. I won't be showing the content mills (which no doubt reacted to the colourful designs), but here's a brief review from Saberspark to start us off.

And, much like a certain indie game, Vannamelon took notice and started adding characters to her series of "(X) Google's themself". Here's a very frazzled Pomni (so, likely after the first two episodes we've seen, as she'd be pretty close to done). The FaceRig is a bit janky, and there are some loud breakouts, so.... watch with low sound and caution.

Okay, here's Episode 3, "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor"! (Rated "Aaaaah!" for Mature!)
In which Kinger reveals more about himself, Zooble's therapy session takes an unexpected turn, and Pomni hits bottom but sees an unexpected light.
