Wow. I didn't like that mold before, but now that it's in bright G2 neon, I really don't like it.
To me, what hurts it the most is the lack of any painted details on the chest. Give it a G2 Decepticon symbol, at the very least. Something to spice up that solid block of purple.
Indeed. Honestly, i kinda love the aggressively painful colours. But having Hasbro G2 Dead End and Breakdown, this set appeals less. Though, I hope Hasbro isn’t just going to shelve any plans they had to complet their G2 Stunticons because of this set.
I love this way too much.
Is it financially bad that I am kinda tempted to just get this and use Hasbro G2 Dead End and Breakdown with it instead?

The bare chest is boring but accurate.
I do find it funny that the 'tower' leftover is just conveniently forgotten about for the pictures. I don't know how it all connected to the trailer but it would have been nice if they could have painted it up to in some way homage the space cube or something.
Not nearly neon enough! I kid, though it is again unfortunate how the toon-accuracy aim of the mold means we lose all that great detail on the lower limbs. They tried by painting the shins lavender/yellow, but it still loses a lot of the fun details from the actual limb bots.

Strange question that probably can't be answered till later: Are those windows just painted over clear, or did they actually switch the clear plastic for solid? Because that's actually a selling point from my POV if they did no matter what colors they are...I wish the Cybertron Origins repaints had been a sturdier plastic, but in that case they just left it as-is.
Maybe. I'm going to put on Hasbro's G2 Dead End, Breakdown, and Shadowstrip with the intent of making Takara purists vomit in their mouths a little.

I mean, I liked the originals, but I didn't feel compelled to want to own them (any more than I do any Transformer, I mean).
But these? These make my hands feel grabby.
I don't have any of the Legacy combiners so far, but I could see myself owning this. I don't have the space or money to collect all the combiners, but this looks like one I could enjoy without feeling any pressure to seek out any companion piece. It's just its own thing.
