On one hand, i just imagine something like: “Unalive Unicron! Mog the alpha! Hawk tuah spit on that thang!” and i want to forget i brought the concept up to begin with. On the other hand, does anybody have any way to contact Robert Kirkman?

Oh my Millennial ass has been loving Zoomer cringe at Gen Alpha memes.

I used to be with "it"! Then they changed what "it" was! Now what I'm with isn't "it" and what's "it" is strange and confusing! AND IT'LL HAPPEN TO YOUUUU!

But yeah... it can sometimes be troublesome getting my Gen Z students to talk like people and not memes.

Astrotrain is such a weird case because the "miscoloring" looks great. It's not impossible that some revision of his character model at some point did look like that.

It's his AKOM colors, so it's technically accurate to some model, just not the final one.

Should it even count as an error then? The studio was given a model to use and then they used it.

The error stems from the Ukranian fan-colored model using the AKOM colors as a source instead of the final model colors, as said fan-colored model is one of the top results in Google Image searches, having been passed around the internet to such places as Pinterest and previously the Fandom wiki. This is why Astrotrain's colors are listed under "Edge cases" instead of "Example items".

But, really, the Ukranian fan-colored models shouldn't have been made using eye-dropped screencaps and tracings of the cartoon in the first place.

I think that it was something of a blessing in disguise that I was never cool.

Even within Transformers fandom, whatever clout or regard I had in the turn-of-the-millennium was (I learned) somewhat conditional.

Anyway, as a result of not having a real place to belong, I could be more of a detached observer of internet culture, and so I had a front row seat for a lot of the Internet's effect on parlance.

Cultural fragmentation is a thing, of course, so it's not as though I use every meme old and new or get every reference, but looking back it's kind of funny (in both senses) how many I collected, as a sort of jackdaw of pop culture.

Oddly enough, steering back to Transformers using Internet terms (or not, depending on what they find), I remember a lot of suggestions that Rumble and Frenzy of all mechs might talk like 4chan's /b board back when it first shot to prominence in the early aughts.

It's high time to admit that swords with all sorts of weird cutouts / gaps / branches are utter nonsense. But yes, that one is especially egregious.
Dude, that ship’s sailed. That sword’s translucent, and not in the “we represent emitted light in toy form with clear plastic” way. You can literally see Prime’s leg through it.
