It's time for a new episode of Transformers: Cyberworld!
Here's the YouTube description for "Pride Before the Fall":
The King of Dinobots is running on empty ... but refuses to stop. What starts as a desert race quickly spirals into a high-risk mission as Snarl is forced to keep him alive against relentless hazards, enemy interference, and Grimlock’s own stubborn drive to prove he’s still at full strength. This isn’t just about winning the race. It’s about knowing when to push forward… and when to let your team carry you.
Check it out for yourself:
In addition, according to Sabrblade, the rest of the run time is filled out with fight scenes from episodes 3, 7, 9, 13, and 17.
And as usual, here's my spoiler-rific recap and review of the episode:
Oh wow, this one sure is... different. I think only one thing really happens, but that's not as bad as it seems.
The whole run of the episode is about an Energon-depleted Grimlock (following Galvatron's attack previously) trying to win one of Cyberworld's games to gain more. He's joined by Snarl, and they're taking on Optimus Prime and Bumblebee as they vie for the prize.
But Snarl's inner-monologue reveals an unspoken rule to this contest, one that Optimus and Bumblebee are initially unaware of: Grimlock can only take one hit in this state.
What transpires is Snarl risking it all for his Dino-boss to cross the finish line, and eventually, Optimus and Bumblebee get wind of what's going on, and try to let Grimlock take the W without letting him catch on to the fact they're throwing the match.
Unfortunately for them, they're hilariously bad actors.
In a nice, subtle reference, Snarl points out that Grimlock "is no bozo." He picks up on this, and refuses to take the easy win. He wants to earn it, and take everything they've got in a fair fight.
This leads to a battle of wills, with Optimus and Bumblebee trying to push Grimlock to the goal. But Snarl has made one thing very clear: If Grimlock don't wanna, he ain't gonna.
To that end, Snarl joins in as well, which Grimlock initially reads as a betrayal by his close friend. And some might say it would be earned after Snarl just ate numerous rounds from Big Grim's Big Gatling Gun a moment before, but Snarl made it clear that he's not betraying Grimlock, he's saving him. And maybe Optimus's words about Grimlock's pride hurting more than just himself resonated, too, as he finally relents and takes the win.
And in a nice touch, and I guess a nod to the episode's title, Grimlock falls backwards in kind of a "trust fall" way into the goal... right after he lets go of his pride.
We end just as we began, with Snarl monologuing -- which tips off Optimus and his teammates to the cause of Grimlock's malady in the first place: Galvatron.
Ah, this was wild. It's such a simple episode, and after last time, almost feels like filler. But I was entertained throughout, and the pacing was really breezy -- usually, these episodes feel a little longer than five minutes (in a good way; they really maximize their minutes), but this one was over before I knew it. It was such a simple premise, but they made it memorable just the same.
Heck, I wrote most of the above from memory, and I'm usually watching along for a second time as I write, to make sure I don't miss anything.
All of which is to say, if for some reason you're marathoning this series, but picking and choosing, don't sleep on this one. It's definitely worth the watch.

Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: You Know The Song!" thread in our forums!
