The main plot is probably peter brooding and wanting MJ and Ned back while dealing with "am I turning into Man-spider?" and the mind-jumper, which the general public seems to feel is pretty likely Jean Grey, but I think could honestly be almost anyone at this point.
-ZacWilliam, I mean Jean is certainly a possibility but I think there are a lot of other options that are just as possible.
Man, people are just so dang desperate to see MCU mutants at this point

I still remember rumors of the MCU Wolverine appearing in Captain Marvel years ago!
The popular theories I’m leaning towards is some version of the villain Typhoid. While a version previously appeared in Iron Fist…nobody really remembers, or cares, about Iron Fist. She would still allow for the “soft” introduction of mutants, without involving such a major X-Men character.
Surprised Spider-Man hasn't had a Disney+ show yet.
You'd think being street level would make him more suited for that kind of thing between the bigger stuff that could be done in the movies.
Because Sony and $$$$$
That’s kind of the reason I feel Daredevil has gotten the TV spotlight: he’s a “cheaper” character that can still fill that niche. That said, I find it rather frustrating that the nature of cinematic universes and streaming has resulted in the character doing a LOT less…lawyering…than the character is associated to. As enjoyable as the Arrowverse Flash series was…I still enjoy the 90s series for remembering that Barry Allen IS a scientist (or at least very smart) and doing actual CSI work IN ADDITION to the superheroics.
So no 8-Ball? Dang!
If they can't do the Sinister Six, they can get any of the D Listers and just so the Sinister Syndicate (and put 8-Ball in there).
I mean, ALL of those characters might still appear, just as part of a larger vignette like Zac and I mentioned. Again, Fantastic Four pulled the same stunt with a LOT of the trailer’s big action sequences simply being part of a “recap”
