What Exatron means is that they're doing the toy-inaccurate silver sword with the toy-accurate version and the toy-accurate red sword with the toy-inaccurate version. It feels backwards, like they should have swapped swords.

The chrome sword wouldn't have looked as good with the matte Sunbow deco. It fits with the toy deco even if it's not Transformers G1 accurate.
But the original Diaclone release did come with a chrome sword, so there is some justification there.
Or they could just not cheap out and come with two swords. Damn things weren't even that big.
I can only, really, afford one. Do I go toy vibes or toon vibes on a favorite character?
There's no question imo. The whole point of these is that they are dead-on the original toys with modern construction/arriculation. The toy design is the entire point.

I mean, yeah, I’m probably going to end up with the toy version on that very basis. But I’m also a professed fanboy for Dinobots as well, so the temptation remains.
IMO the Dinobots have some of the most gorgeous, 80's toy robotty decoes in the whole line. All that delicious chrome!

The existence of this toy would have absolutely blown my mind in 1987.
The existence of this toy blows my mind now.
The only thing that worries me is the plastic being so thin in spots. I know full well it's not intended as a 'toy' in the usual sense but I also know from the various Wal-mart G1 reissues that that's exactly how my nephew would use it. Those G1 reissues have been pretty solid, but G1 with extra joints seems to have a mixed record.
