*looks up* I'd try a single patty version. Pretty tired of McD's for now, we've been hitting them quite a bit for the Changeables Happy Meals.

Ontario has been the test ground for the big arch for a while now... don't think I've actually had one... double quarter pounder just too good to cheat on

Today was very productive.

We only spent $12 out of pocket.

$12 out of pocket! Wow! I'm impressed! Nice hall. You got some bangers there too.

Very nice. I'm enjoying Pokopia. I swear it feels like time slows down when I'm playing. Not a bad thing! It might also be b/c I was playing a lot of Octopath Traveler Zero before that, was not expecting so much drama for a sprite RPG. I hope Pokopia gives us an easier way to view the minimap, or a better map in general. I frequently get disoriented. I've been placing objects at certain spots to remind myself what's there (assuming I remember what the marker means).

Pokopia actually made overwhelmed and I had to stop playing. I'll come back to it when it isn't triggering a flight or fight response because there's simply too much to do.

Went through all of Z-A instead. Honestly, kind of loved it. Enjoyed the combat, and as a X/Y defender this felt like a proper epilogue/sequel so hell yeah.

Bought One Piece Unlimited World Red because it was on sale for like $5 and I still had a little left from my eshop card.

Five minutes in and it drops me here.

Yes. Yes I do believe I will enjoy this.

Pokopia really is one of those games where it's like "I'll play for an hour, no more." Next thing you know, you look up at the clock and it's like "Oh jive! I should've been in bed hours ago!"

I've been playing Pokopia for about an hour a day, but only b/c TMM has been hoarding the Switch 2 for Monster Hunter Stories 3. Which is fine, I play it during down time at work which has been busy anyway.

Yeah, there's SO much to do in Pokopia. The areas calm down once you complete the main objective. I find myself blanking out when it comes to trying to think of how to develop the areas for fun and not worry about all the critters.

TMM saw this on Facebook, I haven't checked it out yet since you need an Online subscription for it.

I've made a decision.

April.

I'm never going to get through both books effectively. So I'm going to rip the bandaid off. I'm going to try and have at LEAST enough in the Crooked Moon/DM Guide read to START in April. My goal after that is going to make sure every week to two weeks I'm ahead enough on both for us to do the next session.

Learn through doing. And I very much still want to do this.

So. April. Session Zero.

Please be patient with me, and if you catch me doing stuff wrong let me know so I can learn. I am feeling motivated again, hopefully this means my seasonal depression is ebbing away and I can get back to just the normal kind.

The fact that Legends of Avantris just announced their second kickstarter definitely didn't light a fire in me, no that's impossible.

Pushing this toward the end of April. I was going to do this this coming week, but I don't think I'll have time.

Thank you both. I'm doing better the last week or so. My best friend/sister came to visit at the end of April and when she left to go back to Illinois her absence got to me like a truck and I got real depressed for about a week.

Between that and feeling like trying to manage a campaign was too much for me to handle I couldn't follow through. I still very much want to give this a run, I've just got to do some self care to build myself up enough to manage. I'm going to try and read at least the first story chapters this week and see if I can get myself to a place where we can at LEAST manage a session zero by month's end.

My overall goal now is to at least be well into the book with everyone before Avantris' next Kickstarter ships. That's at least a year from now minimum.

On that note:
The launch trailer is amazing.

Also they're breaking all kinds of records.

Over 5.5 million in just over a day so far, biggest D&D Kickstarter of all time - and the biggest single first day for any RPG system.

I heard they may have broken the record to 2 million? Uncertain about that, but I know they did it in like 40 minutes. And they broke Kickstarter for like 10 minutes at launch.

What days during the week would work with everyone involved, Doc's work schedule changed and I need to see if we can even get everyone together on days that work for a campaign.

Saturdays are my only guaranteed days off. I also work 2nd shift, so I'm available most mornings (though that's likely to be in conflict with most schedules).

Yeah that's what I was kind of expecting and worried about. Doc works all weekends now because of hourly changes and is only guaranteed Wednesdays and Thursdays off.

If both Saturday and Sunday weren't early days we might be able to swing Saturday nights, but they are so we can't go late on either of those nights.

We may have to put this on hiatus just for logistical reasons. =\
