Same idea, but slightly more topical given the new PM's recent statements....

Something gleaned from recent info regarding World Dragnus as a character is that, unlike Optimus and Megatron, whose style of combination with the Energy Beasts is called "Wildocking", World Dragnus's style of combination with his Dragknight Soldiers is instead called "Worldocking".

Mine just came in the post. I added Predacon symbols to mine and included some colour-coordinated minions for company.

Combining this was an absolute pain. The two 5mm port system feels both loose and too tight at different times. Attaching the knees to the smaller dragons needed force, which then caused the other connections to pop-out. It feels like it's going to pop apart at the slightest bit of regular play, IMO.

As a display piece, it's ok and probably worth the ¥8,000-ish I paid for it. It will look good next to TM2 Megatron, Gigatron and the other dragon bots.

In other news, this chap, coincidentally, was released in Japan at the same time. Even though there's meant to be a molded Predacon symbol inside his (once disassembled) opaque spark crystal, I popped a sticker on .

Also, a Japanese review of "World Dragonus" is out (with English subtitles).

Reposted from the Post Pictures of your Transformers thread, I now have the complete Season 1 Wild King line:

Now, the questions. Anyone think there will be a Season 2? If so, what would you like to see?

For me, I'd want a new Autobot and Decepticon core figure. A lot of people have mentioned Grimlock as a good choice, as he would be a good torso for the dino tribe limbs. It would never happen, but I'd almost prefer Sludge if we got a Dinobot. Cap'n Volca is already a T-Rex, but there's a distinct lack of sauropod in the tribe. If they're more committed to the idea of the core figure being a vehicle, then I'm not sure who I'd want. It has to be someone roughly Optimus-sized, and I don't want a giant VW-esque Bumblebee, and Ultra Magnus is just another semi truck. Maybe Jetfire?

For the Decepticon, there's a few obvious ones. If the Autobot figure is NOT a jet of some kind, then Starscream. Don't want Shockwave if he'd be a tank, we already have a tank at home. Soundwave would be an interesting choice if they gave him a chest compartment that would fit a folded-up limb bot (no animal bits attached, just the basic cubic thing that the main robot folds up into).

For the new animal limbs, I'm thinking the "Autobot" limbs should be sea life. Like, shark, marlin, crab, octopus, sea turtle.

For the "Decepticon" limbs, maybe insects/bugs? Like ant, fly, mantis, pillbug, moth.

I'd love a new dino for a main body bot. But not a T-Rex or apatobrontowhatever... Give us a brachiosaurus. (And more limbs, dino and otherwise. More more more limbs. I want more choices for Ground Energy, and a black or red wing backpack guy.)

Flip the formula and have beast main bots land on Cybertron and team up with vehicle limbs. Keep it fresh by having the vehicle limbs be more BM Vehicon-ish in design.

Or on Earth, seeking fellow beasts but finding vehicles. Make these the less-featured vehicles or makes. A train, a school bus, a food truck, one of those compact squarish Japanese vans, a speedboat.

Or, hey, have them land on Junkion and have the vehicle limbs have that Junkion/ Mad Max business going on. Would fit the partsforming and interchangeable parts compatibility, and lend itself to interacting with Legacy stuff.

Any of those could give us a range of vehicle limbs that include molds for the Prime Force somewhere. All welcome as long as they keep the main WK theme going too.

Call them Beast Machines!

Aside: it was such a... strange experience seeing those for the first time. (I only know of the main ones; that big longnose rig looks neat.)

I generally am eager for the silliness and bonkers designs of a lot of the media I dabble in, but I just could not get behind that giant Angry Birds face on that red car or the totem pole that Megazord was. I love the way the Ultrazord has way too much stuff hanging off it at all angles, like those digibashes of Triple H holding every belt in existence that gets periodically updated to ludicrous degrees, but I just can't with the main one. Maybe it's the irises-and-everything big eyes? Those would give me pause on, say, the Ninja Megazord too, but here it's like a Cars combiner.

I've always thought that Bayverse Slog should be imported into the G1-adjacent, Legacy style Dinobots as his own thing instead of being thought of as Bayverse Sludge. He transforms into a Brachiosaurus instead of a Brontosaurus, has an interesting head design and the idea of him carrying lance-type weapons is neat. Using him as a Wild King torso bot would be a great way to get one.

I could definitely go for that!

I'd love a Leader class Studio Series AOE Slog that doesn't use that rubbery plastic for the torso flap. Damn thing's probably melted off in storage or something. I'm so annoyed at so many of the production choices from that era.
