I just can't really figure out what they are going for with Starscream, it looks to much like Starscream when he was under going his coronation in the 86 movie, so the other character just looks lost! In general, I'm passing on these, I'm not much of a MOTU fan, I tried that revival thing on Netflix a while back, it was ok in the first ep until the end, where the whole thing clearly just fell apart in terms of story as Telia just threw her whole career away in a hissy fit, after that, I stopped watching and deemed it a total waste of a talented animation studio as Castlevania was at least 10 times better than that, they had the basic story for the whole show in the first ep, it could of been intersting but instead it was wasted, anyway, I'm not going to buy these figures, I can see the characters in the first three but the Starscream one, not exactly sure what they are going for there!

Starscream's chest looks like the face of a bird and now you can't unsee it.

Scareglow-Scream looks too much like just Starscream. Either too many armor pieces (basically forming a complete Starscream over top) or too neutral a base color scheme underneath.

New Adventures fans stay winning.
Funny, that, since it's that incarnation of the Power Sword that this Matrix Sword reminds me of.

Also, Skeletor and Scare-Glow fixin' to get isekai'd once He-Man pulls this number.

Kind of, sort of, Collab news:
Hasbro will be revealing new GI Joe Classified figures next week, and one of the render previews is of the Cobra Mole Rat (Stage 2)

The collab element comes from the fact the corrupting element that Mole Rats are mining is, canonically, Dark Energon.

"My super strong rival punched me in the face in a magical universe and now I'm a voice-acting single parent of quadruplets using my evil necromancer skills to flip real estate in New Jersey"

At least that's my first guess on the title. They're all something like that.

I guess this would be the right place to put this (if not, I apologize), but I found the Hot Wheels Color Shifters Tracks last week at Walmart (two of them, actually), but he's already black in the packaging.

There's no evidence of tampering and the ambient temperature of my kitchen and Walmart would not be enough to cause the regular blue Tracks to become black inside the packaging, so the black coloration seems to be the default for these two.

I originally posted on TFW2005, but it sort of got buried because it's not exactly earth-shattering news and there was some other more important Transformers news that came out around the same time.

Anyhow, here are some photos.

Another user on TFW2005 also found this "black" version of Tracks, and there was one on eBay at the time (there may be more, I haven't checked lately), so it seems to be widespread enough to not be a one-off.

I haven't tested mine, but the other TFW2005 user confirmed that his did not change color. So, I guess it's a legit "variant" or Walmart got an entire run of factory defects.

I got one a while back. It changes color, but it needs to be ice water, not just cold tap water.
So, if I'm reading you correctly, you got a "black" one, like mine, and not a normal blue one, right? If so, what color does the black version become in the ice water?

From what I understand, blue Tracks become black in ice water - so what color does "black" Tracks become?

It's blue most of the time, the ice water changes it to black. The pictures you had make it look somewhere in between the blue and black colors. I had several color-changing Hot Wheels as a kid, and those tended to find a "medium" point after a while, but hot or cold water would still change them to the intended color schemes.

But if people are saying that it doesn't change at all, maybe there is something wrong with the paint mix on a batch of these?

I got a couple, they were all blue in-package. I can't speak for all my samples, but Haywire3's definitely changes color to black with ice water and back to blue with hot tap water.

That said, the most recent samples I've seen in stores were a VERY DARK blue, not quite black. So, it's certainly possible there's a run that isn't doing the color change quite right.
