Oh, absolutely. I imagine the movie as starting with a pack of Predators coming to hunt Grabboids, but quickly finding themselves the hunted once Bert finds them.
Not to say it couldn't happen, because it should, but Tremors is owned by Universal while Predator is owned by 20th Century, which is part of Disney. Drat!
I don't think tremors is overtly connected to any other franchise, and also hasn't been touched ( I don't think anyway.) since they did that TV show and that was 22 years ago.
