Great job Labour, so we’re counting down to Wikipedia being blocked in the UK. At least there’s VPNs, well, until Starmer bans them.

Honestly at this point every website should just blanket block access from the UK. Either they repeal the law or they just don't have an internet anymore.

I’d agree, if I thought it’d make the government capitulate for the sake of the economy! If anything it’d make them double down on their stupid law, given how isolationist and authoritarian they are.

So we’ve got a law requiring Spotify and Xbox online services to do an ID check, and is likely to lose us access to Wikipedia, to curtail “services that have a significant influence over public discourse.”

Racism and xenophobia are out of control at the moment. Not just stuff in the media, but what I’ve seen first hand too. I’ve never known it this bad during my adult life.
