My only concern with that, is I believe the only movie left is the Digimon Frontiers one, and it's not included.

I'm not sure they'd release it alone, so I worry that one I just can't get.

Well, there is the Digimon Savers/Data Squad Movie, which never got a dub because it never released over here. And the X-Evolution movie, which also never got a dub. As long as they're willing to let those two be subtitled-only, they'd still be able to have 3 movies on a third collection. Maybe they could add in a few of the shorts or something to pad out the run-time a little, since the Savers "movie" is only a 20 minutes long. I'll admit, it might be the least appealing collection, and I'm not sure it'd sell as well as the Adventures-era stuff. But, it's doable.

Or they could dub them *not likely though*

They actually re-dubbed the first 3 Digimon movies in the first collection, in order to release them in a "uncut" form.

So, it happens, from time to time. But, that was for the most popular season. I'm not sure if they'd want to go to all the trouble to reunite the Data Squad voice cast. And they'd just have to come up with completely new casting for a X-Evolution dub...which might be easier, actually. Still, I think I'd be happy just getting them subbed officially.

They'd only need to reunite four people since they were barely any familiar characters in that movie.

They can cast whoever they want for Rhythm and Algomon.

And "reunite" is technically a strong term since Digimon was always only ever dubbed individually rather than radio-play style.

Hang on a second. Listening closer to that preview clip, these seem to be partial redubs of the movies rather than simply the original dubbed versions. Tai's voice is Joshua Seth, Gabumon is Kirk Thornton, and Kai (Takato's cousin) is Brian Donovan, when all three were recast for the original English dubbed versions from back in the 2000s, wherein Tai was instead voiced by Jason Spisak, Gabumon was voiced by Jeff Nimoy, and Kai was voiced by Yuri Lowenthal (Brian Donavan had originally voiced Kai back when he appeared in the series itself as a guest character, which was years before the Tamers movies got dubbed with Yuri Lowenthal replaced Brian Donavan as the voice of Kai).

I say "partial redubs" because everyone else in this clip besides those three characters sound exactly the same and unchanged from the original English dubbed versions of these movies.

This makes me wonder if they're fully replacing the original English dubs of these movies that featured Spisak as Tai, Nimoy as Gabumon, and Lowenthal as Kai with the partial redubs, or if the set may contain two English dub audio track options for these three movies.

Additional recasts in these movies were:
  • Patamon voiced by Bridgette Hoffman instead of Laura Summer
  • Hawkmon voiced by Jeff Nimoy instead of Neil Kaplan (granted, Hawkmon only had one line in that movie, but still)
  • Jeri voiced by Philece Sampler instead of Bridgette Hoffman
  • Lopmon voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn instead of Michelle Ruff
  • MarineAngemon voiced by Mona Marshall instead of Wendee Lee
  • Riley (the redhead member of HYPNOS) voiced by Philece Sampler instead of Tifanie Christun.
I can imagine Discotek getting back all of these original VAs if they really wanted to, minus Tifanie Christun who's retired and did not return to voice either Biyomon or Yolei in the redubs of the first movie set.

I think the first Movie collection featured the original Japanese, the original English Dub, and a new English redub. So, I think they're doing the same here. It's a little odd they didn't mention the redub, but that's probably what's happening.

Maybe if the re-dub is only a partial one to bring in the original Vas, they might just not count it as a whole new dub?

The first set was also different from this one in that it technically had four movies since the theatrical dub movie was a unique merged production of the other three in the set, which had both the original Japanese and a new uncut English redub, while Digimon: The Movie was English-only.
  • Adventure movie 1 - Japanese and uncut English redub
  • Adventure movie 2 - Japanese and uncut English redub
  • Zero Two movie 1 - Japanese and uncut English redub
  • Digimon: The Movie - English only
This set has the next three films in original Japanese and English dub, but the English dubs weren't dubbed uncut, so it's technically more like six movies in this set since we likely won't be able to just switch audio tracks between Japanese and English unless the Japanese ones also receive a new uncut English redub like the three Japanese movies of the first set received, but that is highly unlikely since while the dubs of these three movies weren't uncut, they were still less edited compared to how the first three movies were chopped up to make Digimon: The Movie.

If there are to be multiple audio tracks that one can switch between in this set, it would have to be between the original Jetix dubs and the partial redubs created for this set. But that's only when assuming that the original Jetix dubs will be included and not simply replaced by the partial redubs.

So, it could be either:
  • Zero Two movie 2 - Japanese
  • Tamers movie 1 - Japanese
  • Tamers movie 2 - Japanese
  • Zero Two movie 2 dub - English partial redub
  • Tamers movie 1 dub - English partial redub
  • Tamers movie 2 dub - English partial redub
Or:
  • Zero Two movie 2 - Japanese
  • Tamers movie 1 - Japanese
  • Tamers movie 2 - Japanese
  • Zero Two movie 2 dub - English partial redub and original English dub
  • Tamers movie 1 dub - English partial redub and original English dub
  • Tamers movie 2 dub - English partial redub and original English dub
