Got lucky with stuff coming back to the ESO in-game store, and not only got the missing statues and dro-m'athra target dummy I needed, but got it all at a discount too that I didn't expect, so I could finish the adeptorium I'd been working on the past couple of weeks without possibly having to wait months for these final pieces to do so.

Started my Gromit hunt across my local city today, 15 out of 53 statues and quite a few miles walked to get their pictures and see these statues (for charity), it was worth it as it was a nice day and a good day to go wondering across my local city, I did roughly 17,437 steps today, more than 200%% more than I do normally

I haven't gotten out much since my car was destroyed in an accident two years ago (as if I didn't have enough happen to me that year). One of the things I missed most was this restaurant, because it wasn't on any delivery services. They finally got on Doordash this summer and I am in Heaven. I've gotten this order three times now, and it's perfect every time.

It's ribs, a pork chop, sliced pork, sliced brisket, 1/4 chicken, sausage, fries (two portions, really), the best collard greens, baked beans, and a slice of Texas toast. And two containers of BBQ sauce and a lifetime supply of ketchup packets.

Only $30, and that's including Doordash's service fee, delivery fee, we're just making this up now fee, tax, and tip.

Bread was mid, seemingly undercooked. Turns out the oven is borked... at least we didn't figure it out on thanksgiving this time.

TMM saw posts about MtG FF cards at Costco. Drove 40mins and signed up for a membership only to be disappointed at two separate Costco stores (but the cheap hot dogs were good). Thus we went on a hunt to many stores. One single pack at a BestBuy renewed hope and we carried on to more stores and a mall. Found other stuff but no cards. Just when all hope seemed lost, we decided to try one more Walmart. There, hidden behind a cahier on the card wall, were two 3 booster packs and the Cloud commander deck at regular price. The hunt was successful.

Today's Doordash drives was very enthusiastic and friendly. Such a short, trivial interaction, but I've been thinking about it all day.

I need to get out more.

I think I did close to or over 30 miles on my bike as apart of my Gromit hunt, now standing at 23/53 statues, thou I might of done close to 40 miles, finding those statues was more or less the easy part, it was finding my way home that was apart of the problem due to lack of signage when it came to locating the path back home

Binge reading a manga called Spirt Farmer, its a good story so far, I was originally following through a youtube recap but that stopped a while ago, but yesterday I had the thought to look it up along with another that I was listening to the recap of:

Spirit farmer

Into the Light Again

These are good stories, Into the Light again is espeically good as its the story of a girl/princess who betrayed in one life and excuted for a crime she didn't commit and reborn into another life as a different princess in another kingdom, with her memories intact and she has some trust issues due to what happened in her previous life

So we finally got a new oven last saturday: and I'm finally getting the time to get some baking done. This new machine has a "proofing" mode, which just set a very low, very stable temperature to proof yeast doughs.

So I'm making bread!

AAAAwwwwww yeah! Compared to the runty loafs I made last time... perfection.

Sounds good but the tomatoes...

OOOOhhhh, some nice strong cheddar on it... A little dijon mustard...

Edit: I also managed to finish the OTHER job of the day, getting under the back deck with the entrenching tool and releveling the land from the installation of the french drains.

I don't know how they managed to dig ten of thousands of miles of trenches with those damn things: But I am certain they did not do it while wearing shorts and sandals.

A commission that had been in progress for two and a half months was just finished, and I can see why it took the artist that long! Just waiting for the full size version, then I'll share the postable size.

Little backstory:

When I got my internet, it was part of a bundle. It was a promotion where it was actually cheaper to get internet and television bundled together. So I got both.

Today while reading my email, I found I got a bill monday that was due tuesday...as in, the very next day kinda tuesday. Needless to say I wasn't happy.

So I called and got the late fee taken off. In the process, we talked about how they were moving from Fiber Television to streaming services that would add more channels. But since I never used the television anyway and it was going to be cheaper just to have the internet, I told them to just take the television off and keep the internet. They also found a few other deductions I qualified for.

In the end, my monthly bill from them will be almost half of what it used to be!

Bagged some more Gromit statues but also did a good deed, coming back to the car after collecting my fifh statue of the day, saw a elderly lady collapsed in a trolley park and went over to help her, my dad also came over along with a stranger woman to help this poor woman, she was clearly confused for a few minutes as she been putting the shopping trolley back, when she had collapsed, thankfully it wasn't to serious, I was the first one who spotted her as it was late afternoon and not as many people in the area of the carpark where she had parked her car, two other people went over to the nearby Supermarket to get some help and two first aiders came over to help. Thou 999 was called, it was aborted after a while as the woman's daughter whom we managed to get in contact with, came to collect her and get her to a Doctor (we presume, also the daughter is a carer from what I understand), she didn't appear to have seriously hurt herself but from my understanding, she hadn't had much to drink or eat, plus with the weather being pretty warm, she might of suffered from a small heat stroke which had caused her to simply collapse and I was lucky enough to actually spot her on the ground when I did. While my parents were a couple of spaces down in the car park from the trolley park, they hadn't noticed her until I saw her as its not every day that you see someone lying/sitting in a shopping trolley parking spot, so I hope she is ok overall, but there wasn't a lot I could do and we let the stranger woman take charge of things, we guess she might be of been a off duty carer as she knew what she was doing so that was my good deed for the day in bringing attention to this poor lady who had simply fallen down and wasn't in the best of shape to start with as she had a operation just resently, so that my good deed in trying to aid this woman.
